"Sigh. I'm never going to get anywhere. We successfully were able to advertise more for the company and get people excited for the new line but I can't think of any ideas for a new clothesline." I say aloud to myself before lying down in the reclined seat in the backyard by the pool with my shades on, looking towards the sky. Currently, I'm wearing a bathing suit in order to get a little tanning done while I sit contemplating my life choices.
"Hey." I hear a voice coming from the sliding door to where I am and I slide my shades up to look behind me. I notice that it's Grey looking down at me, a little shyly I think.
"What's up? Would you like to lie in the seat next to me? I'm currently thinking right now so being in the sun helps." He nods before lying back in the seat.
"What are you thinking about?" He asks, staring at me while I continue to look up towards the sun.
"Um. Just work stuff. I doubt you'd-" He interrupts me.
"Of course, I would! You're a clothesline that sells fashion and I help make fashion while also designing. I sort of have my own line so I can't exactly become a "fashion designer" for you but I can help you in designing some things." He says excitingly, it is actually the first I've seen him this excited for something besides me. I chuckle a bit before looking at him.
"That would be great. Would you like to follow me to my office?" I say standing up and pushing my shades to the top of my head. I start walking towards the office and Grey follows beside me.
After arriving, I sit in my seat and then cross my legs before indicating for him to come closer so he can see what I'm working on.
"This..." I show him my clothing designs. "...is what I have so far. I wanted clothes that were fashionable but more for the use of like, everyday movement? So more comfortable fabric?" I say and he nods before grabbing the papers and looking through them carefully.
"Hmmm." He flips through them some more. "These are good designs. Is there something, in particular, you're having issues with?"
"I... don't know really. These do look good but I personally feel like, I'm missing something?" He continues flipping through them before stopping on one specific page.
"This one. Has the most intricate but also simple designs I have ever seen." He says with a shocking look on his face. I look up at him before he takes the page and places it down for me to see. I look at it and listen to what he likes about it so much. While doing so, his face appears to be closer than it originally was, to mine.
"Ah. I see. They are simple in the sense that they don't have intricate "base designs" but the design on the outside like, what makes it look fashionable, is what makes it look intricate." I smile thinking about it while looking at Grey. He smiles back at me before grabbing a plain sheet of paper. He begins sketching some small drawings for new clothing pieces similar but different, if you get what I mean, and I like all of them.
The pieces are basically male and female matching pants and shirts that are made of material that is stretchy but not too much to where it looks like exercise wear. And then, the outside has designs like gold lines from top to bottom or other things like that to add some "sparkle." We both chat for some time over fashion and also over the business and just... work? You would think that this topic is boring when really it isn't with Grey, for some reason. Maybe, because he does fashion for his own line of work?
"So... is this good enough for you?" He says smiling while crossing his arms proudly.
"Yep! Thanks, Grey! Now, I think I can relax in the sun without any worry." I stand up and at a certain point, I had found a bathing suit cover-up so that while I was in the office, I wasn't showing too much skin. So while walking next to Grey to go back outside, I slowly took it off before sliding my shades back down to cover my eyes.
"Feel free to follow me out here if you like. It's completely fine if not but I just felt like being out here today. Oh and also, I was going to go for a swim after. Maybe you can get the others to come too?" I say before slowly pushing the sliding door open and waving a little before closing it back.
"I will!" I hear him say which was a lot quieter since the door was pulled up.
I lied down on the chair once more, closing my eyes. I drifted off into sleep before I knew it.
...
I wake up to the sliding door opening and a couple of pairs of footsteps afterward. I sit up and lift my shades to look and see 4 gorgeous guys staring back at me in nothing but swim shorts. I smile a little mischievously before standing.
"I see you have all made it. Thank you for coming to my small pool gathering. As you can see, the pool is warm to the touch." I walk over to the side of the pool before crouching to feel the water. I then stand back up. "And the sun is nice and warm, with a little wind to keep you cool as well. Feel free to bring snacks, whatever you'd like. Right now, we're going to relax like we never before!" I dramatically raised my arms and the 4 of them fed my ego by clapping. We all laughed afterward before they went back in and then brought food and pillows and a radio and a whole lot of pool accessories.
I was so ready to relax after the whole incident with Nathan a couple of days ago. I sat at the edge of the pool, putting my legs in the water while moving them back and forth watching the water ripple. I chuckled to myself and Leo came and sat next to me while Rudy and Grey were in the pool tossing a ball back and forth. Katsuki was lying on a reclined chair reading, with his glasses, might I add.
"There a reason for this, new you?" Leo asks using his shoulder to push mine a little.
"New me? I just haven't relaxed in a while but this "new me" has always been there. Just hasn't gotten time to come out." We both laugh before the butler brings a tray with drinks on it.
"Lemonade madam?" I nod and everyone else stops to get their own.
"Thank you. Would you like to stay and relax too?" I ask, but he shakes his head.
"You enjoy yourselves." He walks slowly back with the tray in his hand behind his back, before closing the sliding door.
