"Oh gosh, your wet!" I hear Charles say with his British accent before letting go of me. While Isaac is still hugging me.
"Elizabeth. It's great to see you." I smile up at him before pushing away, a little.
"Haha. It's nice seeing you two, too. But question, you're extremely early. I thought it wasn't supposed to be for like, another week or something?" They both laugh.
Charles says, "We couldn't stay away from you too long so we both made excuses to our parents, so they'd let us off the hook." I laugh. The rest of the guys walk over and just start conversing with them. I slightly stand back looking at everyone smiling, thinking that it's great everyone is getting along now.
After conversing for a little, everyone parts ways and goes to their appropriate places. Before that, I had mentioned that I wanted to eat for the first time together and they all agreed so after resting up, we were going to meet in the dining room.
...
I yawn a little before stretching and walking out of my room towards the dining room. On the way, I pass the butler and he stops me.
"Madam, there seems to be a little problem with the gentlemen again... in the dining room." He says then motioning towards the dining room door. I nod at him before sighing and walking slowly to the door before putting my ear to it, listening.
"No! I want to sit next to her! I was her friend first!" I hear Leo yell.
"No way! I just got back from my trip. I deserve more time with her! You guys got her for like, a week!" Charles says and I hear a faint chuckle.
"Now hold on a minute! I also just got back so what about me?" Isaac asks in return.
"Uh, what else? You can sit in my lap, if you want?" Charles says and the whole room bust into a fit of laughter afterwards. I giggle a little before pushing open the doors dramatically.
"Ahem?" I clear my throat and they all look at me after stopping in the middle of their quarrel.
"ELIZA!!" Leo says loudly before running over to me. Even though he technically is actually older than me, he sort of acts like a kid who loves something so much, they get excited when he gets it finally.
"Haha, funny but no hugs for you. You guys were arguing again!" I look at everyone and when my eyes land on Katsuki and Rudy who both in turn just shrug at me. I sigh. "Okay. We can take turns alright? I won't even sit at the head of the table so two people can sit next to me." I walk over and pull out a chair and then sit down. Then immediately, the rest of them sit down and it interestingly is actually Katsuki and Rudy who get to sit next to me first. We wait a little for the food to arrive before we finally start eating.
It's silent for the most part unless Charles makes a joke or Grey and Leo start arguing again. I laugh at how much they've grown on me and probably the others, amongst themselves, as well. Then dinner has finally ended.
"Elizabeth, could I talk to you for a second?" Rudy asks me when we leave the dining room. I nod and we walk towards the lounge area to sit.
"So... I wanted to ask you something of importance." He pauses for a little. "Um... I wanted to ask you... um... I was hoping that you at least have started or see me as a candidate... a man, rather than a... kid?" I look at him shocked before actually thinking about it. I had never thought about it actually and for some reason, him telling me this makes me sad because I realize I must have really made him feel like a child. So, I agree.
"Yes. I'll do that. I'm sorry for continually making you feel like you weren't." I say looking down. He pats my back before standing.
"That's fine. Don't worry too much okay?" He caresses my cheek for a little before walking away. I sit there in silence for a little before I hear someone clear their throat.
"Oh Charles. Hey. We haven't gotten to talk properly yet." I say, patting the seat next to me and he sits down. "Did you hear?" I ask and he nods slowly.
"Yes, unfortunately. He crosses his legs before putting his arms behind his head, relaxing. "But might I add, you do seem to do it a little." I sigh after he says this.
"I know. I'm definitely guilty." I shake my head and then lie back in the sofa. We both sit in silence before he asks.
"Would you like to go somewhere with me tonight?"
"Um... now? It's like 8pm." I say looking at him and he smiles.
"That's exactly why. I have a place I would like you to see." I think on it before agreeing and we both stand, agreeing that we will meet back here in 30 minutes.
I walk to my room and change into something nicer and also grab a sweater before leaving the room. On my way I crash into Leo.
"Hey Leo." I say.
"Hey. Woah Woah, where are YOU heading?" He asks.
"Nowhere. Just, out." He lowers his eyebrows.
"Out? With anyone in particular?" He asks.
"Leo... really?" He laughs.
"I'm joking. You can go. It IS your candidacy thing anyways. Have fun. I'll see you when you get back." He says chuckling still to himself while walking towards his room. I shake my head before walking towards the lounge.
"Ready M'lady?" Charles asks. And I nod. We head to my car but instead, Charles drives.
We drive for like, 30 minutes in the dark, talking about random things and then we reach where he wants to show me. We parked at a place that is clearly higher than anywhere I've seen in this area before. We walk for a little while before I gasp and Charles looks at me smiling.
"See. THIS, is what I wanted to show you." I smile back at him.
"I can definitely see why." We walk closer to the edge of the mountain to get a better look of the beautiful view in front of us.
