Chapter 41

There was laughter and he glanced at Logan, he forgot to buy gold bands annoyed that there were a few rings in his drawers, just not the type for special moments like these.

"Oh, I have gold bands" Joanna waved and there was another wave of snickering and Barry huffed and jogged to her seat to get them and presented them to the minister.

"Oh, these are worthwhile, Stephen and Joanna"

Joanna turned pink delighted and Logan passed her one thankful look and turned to his newfound bride when her hand touched on his when she was getting ready to say the vows.

He closed his eyes when the ring rolled down the aisle and a girl went running after it till and she hurried to give it to him.

"Thanks, kid" He winked and took her hand and slipped the ring on and pulled up her veil, and was breathless at her radiant face, that smile was for him, those eyes sparkling with joy and fondness, she made the first move and he looked taken aback and she walked into his arms. She was his.

With the four girls in matching scarlet bridesmaid dresses shuffling with themselves, she turned to lift the bouquet causing the flock of girls to scream raising their hands, lurching to the place it might fall to, she tossed it and Harry caught it from the doorway and dashed back to Keira giving it to her with fond blue eyes, his tail switched from side to side.

"Someone just stole my heart" She grinned entertained.

"Unacceptable" Logan passed Harry a jealous look and couldn't deny his irresistibility and took her in arms swaying before anyone could steal his beautiful bride, the makeup didn't hide her amusement.

"If we split, I'm taking the dog"

He chuckled at that, he was starting to love the mutt but worried that might happen.

"That's not possible Mrs. Daniels, the agreement's in_"

"I know"

"How do I manage to humiliate myself and you're still standing and looking all perfect?" He shook his head.

"Stop, this was my third makeup" She wore a similar dress but shorter and free so she could dance in them.

His hand contracted on hers "Look at you, only yesterday, you were freezing in a bathroom"

She laughed and shook her head "I told everyone it was my fault okay?"

"Your grandfather pulled a gun at me"

"He's just concerned"

She didn't look any less beautiful and It was like she stepped out of a fairytale, the ones he spent his entire life putting down and she completely trampled on his efforts.

A thought left her in puzzles and she had the impulse to ask. "Logan?"

"Keira?" He murmured against her hair and purred while her hands played at his collar.

"What were the odds that we were going to meet in such a big world?"

He quieted when they swayed to the music with her hand on the back of her hair.

"I don't know, don't ask me that okay?"

She giggled at his abrupt answer and laughed even harder at his grip like she was going to disappear at any moment. Keira closed her eyes and she was not scared to open them because this was real and their love was real.

Megan approached them in a chic midnight blue dress with creases on the sides and folded her arms with wonder.

"I thought we could've pulled it off" She looked visibly disappointed and her attempts to look or sound playful without offending the bride turned out bleak.

Logan was her first love from childhood but he always appeared oblivious to her cues and she just stuck to teasing but it went downhill.

Keira draped her hand around his neck and he squinted his eyes like there was a sandstorm in the room and the cold breeze ruffled his hair.

It was unthinkable that she would pay a spy to sneak into the restaurant to take photos and publish them, just unthinkable, he was very upset and disappointed that she would stoop this low, although he was very patient with her as she was going through insecurity problems and this act just proved how ugly she was deep down.

He took a deep breath while she passed him a sad smile to cheer him up and he had to face the facts that he couldn't make everyone happy.

"Megan, if you're going to taunt us for being an odd number...don't"

She nodded in understanding, and her train draped by as she walked away.
