Here Comes Christmas Again.

Three days before Christmas:

Amanda.

"Why didn't he just come with you?" She demanded, clearly frustrated.

"For the thousandth time, he told me he had something to do. Assignments, I guess." Carlos replied.

"When will he be arriving, I'm not calling him because he'd be with his friends."

"He is coming over with Noah, So why can't you call him?"

"Because I want him to come here directly without my telling him to do so,"

"When did you become such a girlfriend? I leave for college and my sister changes completely,"

"It's just that... It's nothing. Oh My God! I think he's here!" She jumped up in excitement and fled towards the door.

Carlos shook his head but he was smiling.

Just as Jung got out of the car, Amanda flung open the main door and ran to him.

"Amy!" His face broke into a smile and he spread his arms.

"Jung!" She jumped on him. Wrapping her legs around his waist, her arms around his neck.

"Woah. You're getting heavy," He joked, Amy laughed and punched him playfully.

"Are you going to kiss me or not?" He demanded.

She then placed her lips over his and gave him a long kiss.

"I missed you."

"I missed you, too."

"Hey man!" Once again they were interrupted by the same voice.

Ansel.

She unwrapped her legs from around his waist and Jung turned towards him.

"Hi! What's up?" They high-fived and Ansel nodded at Amy.

"Jung!" Amy whined like a little girl, He looked at her and stretched his arm towards her which she took, intertwining their fingers.

"Hi, Amy," Ansel said.

Amanda wrapped her arms around Jung's waist, pecked him on the cheek, and smiled at Ansel.

"Hello, Ansel."

"Oh yeah, How's Ava? Amy told me about her,"

"Who?" Ansel asked, totally confused.

"That Ava Parker? with whom we met up with a few months ago, The one you never seem to get enough of, Sticking your tongue down her throat in the school hallways." Amanda reminded him.

He cleared his throat and looked around uncomfortably.

"I... uh, Well. I'll be inviting her over on Christmas." He raised his eyebrows at Amy and smiled.

She rolled her eyes and asked Jung if he would like to come in.

"Um... Yeah. If you're taking me up to your room, I'll take a shower, and then we could spend time together."

"Of course, baby."

"I'll see you later, Ansel." Jung patted Ansel's shoulder and hand in hand, He and Amanda made their way towards the main door of her house.

Ansel.

He watched them disappear inside the house.

"Now, how the hell am I supposed to charm Ava again?"

Flashback

He pressed his lips over hers, wrapping his arms around her waist. Seth had told him about her just a couple of days after he had asked for help, And now here he was.

She kissed him back. Her eyes closed, clearly enjoying all this attention from him.

He was known as the playboy so everyone knew that she was his new girl and he'd leave her after a week or less.

He opened his eyes a little and saw Amanda standing in a corner, trying to look as if she didn't care what was going on around her. But he knew she had been watching them.

Suddenly, She slammed her locker door. Turned towards Marie and Wren, and together they walked away.

He pulled away from her.

"Hey, why did you stop?" Ava demanded, her arms around his neck.

"Gotta go to class, See you." With that, he turned away from her and started walking to where Amanda had gone.

He would kiss her in the mornings when he knew Amanda would be there. To watch.

But, after a week or so, He got frustrated and Ava wanted more.

Um... so of course, He did it.

He dumped her.

Present-day

He dialed a number and pressed his phone to his ear.

"Ava, baby? how are you doing?"

"Why are you calling me?"

"I missed you, so damn much. I just knew I had to talk to you."

"R-really?"

"Of course, wanna meet up? My place?"

"Okay, I'll be there. Oh, love, I'm so happy you called, I was so sa-,"

He rolled his eyes and ended the call not waiting for her to finish the sentence.

Game on.

*

"And I told Ansel, that it won't suit me but he insisted so much that I had to get it. And it looked so good on me. I looked so sexy, Every eye in the room was on me. I felt like a queen."

Ansel couldn't help rolling his eyes.

"That's...er, very nice." Bella faked a smile.

"So Ava, what are your plans for college?" Patricia asked, politely.

"Oh, wherever Ans bear would go, I'll go there."

"And what are your plans for tomorrow?"

"It's Christmas, I'll just dress in red and be glittery."

Bella looked at Ansel and raised her eyebrows.

Meaning: What the hell is going on?

He raised his eyebrows back.

Meaning: I don't fucking know.

Bella shook her head and looked away.

They always knew what the other one was saying, they had a really strong bond.

Ansel looked at Ava, she was still talking about stupid things.

This was going to be a long long night.

Amanda.

It was midnight, Amy and Jung were sitting in the backyard of his place.

"It's our first anniversary," Amanda said.

"I know, I can't believe it. Time flies."

"Your friend, Ha Ni. Does she lives in Korea?"

"Oh Hannah, No she's just as American as I am. She lives in America, New Jersey,"

"Hannah? Is it her American name?"

"Yeah, it is. She's a nice person. You should meet her."

"Well, you made a pretty good friend while you were away. And you seem to spend so much time together," Amanda looked down at her hands.

"Are you jealous?" Jung took her hand in his and demanded.

"No, why would I be jealous?"

"I know you are, You look so cute." He leaned in to kiss her but she moved away.

"What? Now you don't wanna kiss me?" He asked, pretending to be hurt.

"Let's go inside, It's cold." She got up.

"Amy, Come on! She's just a friend," She had already gone inside. He followed her.

"Hey, what's the matter?" He caught hold of her arm and spun her around so she was facing him.

"It's nothing." She whispered looking away.

"You know, I'm crazy about you."

"She's Korean, Everybody would just assume that you both are dating,"

"Oh come on! don't think about others. Think about us. That's more important,"

"I care, Jung. I care what others think," Amanda turned her face to look at him. To show him she was being serious.

"You shouldn't. You should just care what I think,"

"I care about that too, But while you're away and I'm here I get all those silly ideas,"

"Don't be silly, Amanda. You know I'll always stay loyal to you," He had started getting irritated. She could see it.

"I do. Of course. But sometimes I just get these ideas. It isn't my fault. I can't help it."

"Hey, you know that I love you, don't you?" He cupped her face in his hands.

"You love me?" She peered into his eyes.  And saw sincerity and love. He broke eye contact and started fishing for something in his pocket.

"What are you looking for?"

"This," He took out a blue velvet box, the kind of box in which you put a ring in.

He looked into her eyes.

"Amanda Wealth, Will you marry me?"
