Aliana and Lucien made their way to the gardens, walking languidly whispering sweet nothings to each other. As they were about to step outside the castle Lord Alaric and Samuel came walking up to them, visibly upset.
Holding back an exasperated sigh, Aliana looked at the two men in front of her. "Can I help you, gentlemen?"
"We just got some interesting news from Prince Elric about you choosing Lucien and how we couldn't say anything about it to you," Samuel said through gritted teeth.
"I didn't know he said anything to you yet," Aliana said coolly. "Moreover, I did choose Lucien and I was going to tell at least you, Sam. Alaric, I don't really know why this concerns you."
Lucien held Aliana tightly to him and gave the other men a murderous stare. He didn't say anything but his actions spoke volumes.
"You better be careful with how you handle the next principalities, Your Highness," Alaric said cryptically.
