The Princess and the 7 Princes

<p>After breakfast, Aliana and Tristan left to go get dressed for their mock battle and were to meet up on one of the large fields outside of the castle. Aliana still didn't know what type of battle it would be but her blood was pumping with excitement at the thought of battle, even a pretend one. When she got back to her room Edith and Janie laid out her armor for her to wear and they helped her change into it.  </p>

<p>Edith rebraided Aliana's hair so that it was wound tightly in a thick bun at the back of her head, she chose not to wear a crown, she never did when she went to battle anyway. Her armor was a gleaming steel color and heavy to wear. She wore a thin chest plate over chainmail with shoulder covers and hip plates and thick black leather pants with legs plates over the top. She was not comfortable in full armor so she only covered what she needed to. On top of everything, she wore a thick furry black cloak to combat the cold.  </p>
