Lynda, the general manager who was an old friend to Janet, arranged a special lunch for Janet on the terrace. The terrace had only Janet, Rayan, Alex, Lily, Jasmine, and Lynda.


During lunch, Lynda and Janet recalled old memories for them in college. Jasmine was shocked to know that her mother was troublesome as a student who never followed the rules.


“Mom, you escaped classes and did all the things you consider forbidden for us now,” Jasmine commented on her mom’s college adventures.


Janet laughed and said, “Well, our times are different, I guess, don’t you think so, Lynda?”


Lynda said, “Our time had David with us. That was the difference.”  


When Lynda recalled David, Janet’s face changed. Jasmine noticed that her mother got annoyed.


Lily noticed Janet as well, so she asked, “Who is this, David? I wonder”. She looked at Lynda when she asked to avoid Janet’s look.


Lynda sighed and said, “There are no words to describe him. May he rest in peace!”
