Jasmine got up early, as she could not sleep last night. Even though her first class would start in the afternoon, she got dressed up and ready to go.


She had her breakfast with her mother in the garden.


“Look who is up and ready,” Janet said so the moment she saw Jasmine. “What a high spirit today. I wonder what the reason is.” Her mom asked with a smile.


Jasmine did not want to tell her mother about her broke up with Rayan. She did not want to talk about this with anyone, at least not now.


She smiled back at her mom, and she said, “The weather is nice, and I felt like having breakfast with you, mom. It is only us now.” She looked at George’s empty chair while saying so and said, “Mom. I miss her.”


Janet was expecting that Jasmine would get weak and miss her sister. 


“Don’t mention her in front of me, please.”
