Jasmine kept looking at her naïve sister and smiling.
Yesterday was not a pleasant day for Jasmine at all. First, she got disappointed because she could not convince Sue to be on her side. Neither her tears nor her begging worked.
Then, she got scared when she remembered her daughters. What scared her was her inability to remember her daughter’s school name when she tried to call the school to prove that Rayan was wrong. She could not remember the last time she was with them, saw them, or even heard their voices. Since the possibility of Rayan hurting his own kids was not possible, Jasmine had one conclusion. She never had kids.
Last night, she could not sleep at all. She was thinking about how to convince Sue to change her mind about the mental hospital. Jasmine felt hopeless. She felt that she knitted her worst end with her bare hands.
Today, everything had changed; her naïve sister had bought her story. Her naïve sister would get her out of the house.
