Irene felt restless as soon as she got out of bed, and today she had a new batch of maids to serve her.
Irene asked, and the head maid explained, "They've gone out to visit their relatives, and we've been serving the Madam recently." Everyone had left the palace? Why didn't she hear about this from Gerry and Jane?
Irene went to the garden to relax. She also wanted to clear her head.
When she woke up this morning and didn't see Ronald, Irene felt empty. She called over a maid who was sweeping. "Where's the general?"
The maid wanted to say something, but she stopped herself. Irene's voice was deep, and there was a hint of anger in her tone. "Speak!"
The maid walked to Irene's ear and whispered, "It seems that the army has found out that someone is a spy. The cooperation with Celt this time is actually a deliberate instigation with evil intentions."
Irene felt as if she had fallen into an ice cave.
