Chapter-43: Valiant sacrifice or just killed off by the King?

Chiyo was really aggressively attacking while Sasori was defending himself.

He himself was a puppet and the damage to his core was more troublesome that he initially expected.

It couldn't go more wrong.

Sasori was still putting up a fight but he knew that he won't survive the battle unless someone rescues him and no will rescue him from this situation.

So with a cold glint in his eyes, he became extremely aggressive.

Slowly, he pushed Chiyo into a corner but at the cost of his puppets being destroyed. The situation was in Chiyo favor now but she still didn't understand why was he doing this.

She still had 3 puppets while his puppets were already gone.

Suddenly, realization hit her.

Sasori gave her a knowing smile as he whispered, "I will come back...in....next life to hunt all of you....Puppets are the eternal art. This is...my...last move." He said his body went spasmed a little once again and in a second chakra started being compressed.

Chiyo wanted to escape but she was in a cave area and was cornered by a lot of rubble everywhere and her condition wasn't exactly the best as well.

Her chakra was exhausted and her body was in even worse condition as she wasn't able to even move properly as she pushed herself too far.

Meanwhile, Sasori's chakra started creating shockwaves around the area.

He was rapidly compressing and decompressing his chakra throughout his puppet body, destroying it as well.

Every residual chakra inside him, which was necessary to keep him alive was being used.

Every shockwave was larger than the last, making the pressure in surrounding go up and down rapidly, as if the whole atmosphere was being crushed by a hydraulic press.

"Glory to the eternal art. Human-puppet chakra shockwave." He said with an emotionless face as he burst and created a big shockwave that travelled through the air, destroying everything along with it path.

The range was somewhat short as he was in cave.

But still, the damage was extremely high. The cave was totally destroyed and the attack literally sliced rocks as if they nothing but paper.

Chiyo was able to somehow escape through her puppets but she lost her left leg and a large chunk of flesh from her body just because the shockwave grazed her while she was escaping.

A lot of bones in her body was broken and her condition was extremely bad. She looked like a rotten squashed tomato.

But she was still able to survive, although she already had one feet in the grave. Metaphorically and literally.

Well not literally as the feet that got cut off was totally destroyed but whatever.

Kazuya had already asked Tenten, Rock Lee and Neji to retreat as far as possible when he saw what was happening.

They retreated but still felt the shockwave, making there bones creak in pain. Tenten's bones cracked from some places because of the shockwaves, making her scream in pain while Neji's was also going insane from the pain as he spasmed crazily due to the intense pain going through his brain.

This happened because the shockwave carried chakra waves with it and one of the waves started affecting the seal, activating it accidentally.

Kazuya was also somewhat disgruntled by the attack as it was too destructive and wasn't shown in the canon but was fine because of Naruto's body's healing factor as well as senjutsu that strengthened his even more.

Rock Lee however wasn't surprised by the sensation at all as he was used to a lot of pain because of the eight inner gates technique but he was still surprised at destructiveness of the attack.

This attack was definitely an S-rank one.

After the dust died down, Kazuya and the team saw Chiyo dragging herself as well as Gaara with help of her puppets.

"You okay?" Kazuya asked as he came near her immediately started healing her wounds, just enough so that it would delay her death.

(Kazuya POV)

"Gaara is dead so mission is automatically a failure. Let's retreat now and maybe treat Chiyo better. She will die like this." I said as I created a few clones to carry her but she shrugged them off.

She then put her hands on Gaara's chest and started the One's own life reincarnation.

"What the..." I said in surprise.

Well, I wasn't really surprised from this but I don't want to look suspicious.

"What is she doing?" Rock lee asked me while he carried Neji and Tenten on his shoulders.

Both of them passed out because of the pain from shockwaves.

"She is...Reviving him. A kinjutsu that can revive someone but at the cost of their own life." I said.

Rock Lee was extremely surprised by this and started crying.

"How noble." Rock Lee said as he sniffed as tears fell down from his cheeks.

After a while, my clones assisted her to compensate the chakra needed for the progress. The moment the process was done, Gaara opened his eyes and Chiyo fell on the side, closing her eyes forever.

I checked her body and it was devoid of any residual chakra as her body rapidly started corroding a little, making her skin more wrinkly.

This jutsu must've used principle of sacrifice, eh?

As long as something of equal value is given, anything can be done.

Once again, another excellent ninjas used this principle. First was Tobirama and then Chiyo. I really work on it as well.

"Welcome back Gaara. How was the cold embrace of death?" I asked as I assisted him in standing up.

"What happened to the enemy? Where am I? Why do I don't feel Shukaku's presence?" He asked.

"Enemy is dead. Chiyo killed her and revived you but she had to use a kinjutsu so she is now dead. You are in an isolated place in Sunagakure. Shukaku was extracted from you, hence the tailed beast is lost." I said as I explained him the about the situation.

He was extremely surprised by what happened but he couldn't do anything about the situation at all.

"Rock Lee. Retreat with Tenten and Neji to Konoha now and inform Grandma Tsunade. I will check on Gai-sensei. Kazekage-sama, please go to your village. Everyone is worried about you." I said before I flickered away.

I was now going towards Gai's direction.

I saw that 2 ANBU members were seriously injured and 1 ANBU member was caring for them.

I left a clone to heal them as I went to where Gai was.

Gai had used 7th gate to fight Deidara and was successful in repelling him away.

"Damn you are strong, Gai-senpai." I said as I praised him.

Making Deidara retreat wasn't an easy task at all and is something commendable for a normal jonin who did it just by working hard.

"HAHAHAHAHA! Youth always prevail, Naruto-kun. Where is my team, by the way?" He said as he heartily laughed once more while giving me a thumbs up.

"They retreated back to Konoha as I asked them to inform Hokage about the mission. Kazekage died but was revived by Chiyo of Sunagakure and one of the ninjas of Akatsuki was killed, namely Sasori of red sand. You retreat as well, Gai-senpai. You must report about it now." I said as I put hands in my pockets and took a walk around.

"I will retreat, Naruto-kun. What will you do?" He asked.

"I don't know. Maybe stay here and await and orders from Hokage or something?" I said as I went towards Sunagakure.

It was some time to relax after this long and exhausting battle where I fought so valiantly and definitely didn't wait everything out. I used one whole Rasengan. Yeah.

Totally exhausting.
