CHAPTER FIVE

They all heard the knock from the door, "Come in!" Lora shouted

When the door was opened, "The girl from the TV earlier, what is she doing here?" she mouthed

"Hi, how may I help you?"

"Goo…goo…good evening! I'm here to see Miss Lora," she stammered.

"O…kay, I'm Lora.

Yeah, I know. Emma screamed excitedly in her mind as she has the urge to run toward her and give her a big hug. She loves her movies, shows, interviews, music and her smile. She had been her fan since she was 9 years, someone in the house always plays it.

Then she took a deep breath and shouted, "I just want to see your face, you look beautiful and lovely as always," she looks down as she blushed. Silly, silly, I should have stay at the party but she had once told herself that whenever she has the opportunity to see her again, she is going to tell her how much she admired her. Even if the word she said now wasn't part of the words she practiced, she is glad she was able to say something.

"I really love the way you behave, also what you do and will like to be like you someday," she said quietly with her head down.

Lora was dumbfounded then smiled at the girl cute attitude and walked toward her, "Thanks, you really made my day." She hugged her.

"Come! Sit here! It will be so wrong of me if I don't know this friend of my properly. Then they both sat, "You know the prettiest person here is you," she said to Emma.

"What! No! You are!" shouted Emma

"Yeah, I know, I know," she said with her chin up, and they both smiled.

After that, they talked for a while. Then she finally asked, "I'm sorry to ask but who is the celebrant?"

"My granny!"

"Your granny?"

"Yes!" she nodded while making a cute face, "wait! You don't know?"

"Yes, we were in a hurry so I couldn't ask,"

"Well," she said cheerfully with a sparkly eye, "my grandma is one of your biggest fans, she loves to listen to your songs and talks about you all the time. She loves to say, 'I love that girl! I don't know why,' she loves you a lot."

Lora was shocked, at the same time touched and said, "she must be fun to be with."

"Yes, granny is extremely fun and funny, when she smiles, you won't help but to smile more because she looks so cute."

"And you say that to her?"

"Yes, we all do. She is so childish and sweet." They both smiled

"It must be really nice having her around," Lora said in envy

Emma nodded not noticing the change in her tone

Then she heard another knock from the door, "Come in!"

"Good evening ma, my name is Lucas, one of the crew members. I'm here to tell you some of the things you need to know."

"Okay." Then she looked at Clara and Kevin, they are both absent-minded. The party must be really interesting that they forget about her. She sighed

"According to the plan, you are going to be performing in the next one hour, everything you need both on the stage and here have been prepared and your band will join you very soon. Now about the stage, the background will be dark so it can cover your face. No one will be able to see your face until after your performance.

"Why?"

"So, we could surprise granny," Emma said

Okay! That's nice.

"So, what exactly are we doing now," said Lora

"Oh yeah, we're…"

"Emma!" someone called her from behind

"Big…brother!" She stood up.

"How can you leave the party without telling anyone? Don't you know how worried everyone will be if they find out? I have been looking for you all over. If not for one of the guests that saw you around here, I'll still be searching," Zayn said angrily

"I'm…I'm so sorry bro, I just want to see her…"

"But you will! At the party,"

"No, I won't! The last time, she was surrounded by a lot of people."

"Then you should have told me instead of wandering off on your own,"

"I'm sorry,"

"Okay, let's go before granny knows."

She turned, mouthed goodbye and they left.

Clara touched Kevin's cheek, "you seem visible to me so am I. why did he just treat us like some invisible fellow or are we ghost?"

"Stop spouting nonsense! He must be so worry about his sister that he couldn't see anyone around."

"But that's not possible. He will definitely know someone is here. What a weird fellow!" she scoffed. But he looks alluring which means he is not too bad for me to deal with.
