Someone from outside

A few moments later, these two people managed to get to the Visiting Room without any problem. There, the guard told Rodriguez that he have ten minutes to talk with the person who's at the desk number five. Rodriguez is going to that desk, and at the moment he got there, the person he saw there, made him speechless for a moment. He never thought he will be able to see one of the persons who are still keeping contact with him outside this huge building.

"Hello, Ramirez." says Carmen taking the phone and talk with Ramirez from the other side of the table. She is looking two years older, has short hair and a pair of glasses since she got a lot of time with her eyes on the monitors.

"Hello, detective Carmen." says Rodriguez, who's actually Ramirez from outside, but people here are calling Rodriguez for some reasons.

"How are you doing it?"

"Great. You?"

"Also great. Now, tell me. How are the things going on here?"

"Pretty bad." says Rodriguez in a slow tone to not be heard by the guard who's smoking into this room. "The Boss has finally decided to execute prisoners in front of everyone else, rather in a secret room."

"Oh my God. It is bad, then." says Carmen feeling astonished by this.

"And the worse part, they are even letting guards to arm themselves with guns."

"They didn't used to get guns back then?"

"Yes. But now they are using much more deadly weapons, such as assault rifles and even shotguns."

"Dammit. I cannot believe I am saying this, but after the info you've given me the whole years, this prison might be at a few steps closer to became destroyed by Government. I admit, the rules and the guards here are bad, but not as bad as the ones from other prisons."

"Here I also agree. There might be some bad sides, but at least it is not outside there."

"Yeah. the things are getting wild there too. The President of the United States is about to launch a nuke bomb to North Korea, and this is giving me the creeps cause from some reports I gathered, these Koreans have managed to create ninety nuclear bombs by doing business with Russia and China in secret."

"Shit." says Rodriguez not believing the things there are even getting crazier than here.

"But this is not the reason I came here to talk. Here it is the reason."

Carmen is taking a folder, and she is sliding with the help of that drawer to Rodriguez who's immediately taking the folder, and he opens it. He takes a look around the files there, and he looks at Carmen eyes.

"You think these aren't enough?"

"No." says Carmen to Rodriguez. "The man may be a tyrant, but he is not doing anything illegal. If he is caught doing something like growing weed, doing human trafficking, arms dealing or crafting, and making fake documents, then we might get a chance to put this building out."

"And if this will happen?"

"You will either be transferred or a new Boss of a prison will buy this place. Either way, I can arrange some papers to make you leave earlier."

"You can do that?"

"I am a detective. Plus, I have to help you, after the fact that you gave us the information we needed on that criminal."

"And you still haven't caught him."

"Not yet. Do not lose hope, Ramirez."

Ramirez is handing the documents back to Carmen, and he is leaving the Visiting Room because of the guard who was taking him up earlier. Carmen was trying to negotiate with that guard to let Ramirez longer, but the guard didn't listen, he used his police baston to make Ramirez walk out of this room while Carmen was getting up from her seat and walks away from this prison.

After a few minutes, Rodriguez was thrown back into his cell, where Lenard is on his bed and awaits for Rodriguez to come back from the Visiting Room.

"Earlier than I thought." says Lenard to Rodriguez going into his bed. "Hey. Are you okay?"

"Yes." says Rodriguez looking at the walls of this cell. "It's just... This boss, man."

"Right." says Lenard. "I know how are you feeling it. It gives me the creeps."

Then, an inmate is coming at their cell door, he is knocking on their door. Lenard decides to get up from his bed and goes to that cell door, to see what does this guy want to talk about.

"Hey! Would you help do a favor?" asks the inmate having a South American accent.

"As long as there are any money in it?"

"There are, my friend."

"Good. So what's the favor?"

"Would you try to send this letter to the cell Number 6, from East Block Women? I'll give you fifty cents."

"Enough to buy a bottle of water." says Rodriguez to Lenard. "Sounds a good deal to me."

"Alright." says Lenard to that man. "I'll do it."

"Really? Thank you very much. Here is the letter." says the man handing the latter to Lenard. "And remember, cell Number 6 from east Block."

"I won't forget." responds Lenard to that man request, and he leaves this area.

Lenard leaves his cell, and he lets Rodriguez there, sitting by himself and enjoying a book he hasn't finished reading it yet.
