THE LAUGHING OVERPOWERED GUILD

MOUNT ADLER, AOTL GUILD BASE:

A hundred AOTL warriors surrounding the base observed the battle from the summit. Each of them had activated eagle-eye, a skill that gave them a zoomed-in point of view of the battle. A droopy-eyed green-haired, slender woman among them suddenly sat on the floor, yawned, and stretched.

"Tired, Magen?" one of the young male warriors asked her.

"Yeah. Spent the whole night finishing up the recent episode of the motion comic." She answered while she rested her head in her palm with her tired eyes still peeled to the screen before her.

"Ooh is it out yet?" the teenage warrior turned to Magen with a look of excitement.

"I still have some cleaning up to do before I upload it," she answered while pointing two fingers at the screen.

"Oh sorry!" the boy responded to Magen's gesture by quickly turning back to his panoramic monitor.

"Hmm? What's that?" Magen sat upright as she noticed hundreds of fists bursting out of the ground in succession at the foot of the mountain.

"Wow... these guys are hardcore. I give them that," she muttered to herself.

"Everyone in position!" She ordered the other warriors. Immediately, each of them knelt with one knee and drove two fingers into the ground.

At the foot of the mountain, several gigantic black crystalline Komodo dragons rose out of the ground and crawled up the mountain with speed that defied their size. As they hurried up the mountain, they shot out huge fireballs toward the summit.

"Ok. Now, that's just desperate," Magen said to herself.

Before the fireballs could reach the clouds that covered the summit, they were repelled by an invisible FYBER wall.

"Now!" Magen yelled.

The dragons suddenly seemed to be running on the spot as the surface of the mountain begun to shift underneath them. The ground beneath them seemed to change to quicksand, causing them to sink in. Then, the whole surface of the ground they occupied changed nature, matching their black crystalline bodies and freezing them stiff in place.

The injured Blaze grunted within one of the dragons.

"Orange flames! Breath orange flames and melt yourselves out! We're not giving up!" Blaze yelled to the other warriors who seemed to be hiding within the other dragons. The dragons started breathing orange flames to free themselves.

From the base above the clouds, Magen yelled.

"Time to teach these cheaters a lesson. Lonsdaleite guillotine!" She commanded.

All 165 AOTL warriors surrounding the base, buried both fists in the ground with shouts of triumph. A large portion of the mountain top gave way as it trembled, causing massive rocks to fall through the clouds and tumble down towards the dragons. After falling through the clouds, every single one of these rocks morphed into a giant blade aimed at the dragons as they descended through the air.

"So it's true. They really have Lonsdaleite hardbody warriors!" Blaze thought as he quivered within his dragon.

"Meet your maker," Magen whispered with a smile.

In a matter of seconds, the blades sliced through the struggling dragons, taking out each of the Edgy Edge warriors. Hundreds of pillars of dancing lights immediately appeared over the vast expanse of the foot of the mountain. This was an indication to the Shield unit, that they had completed their mission. They yelled so loud that it could not just be heard by the Air-strike unit patrolling the space beneath them, but also the spearhead unit warriors that were also emerging out of the ground.

"Yeeeeeeehhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaa! Victory by a landslide, baby!" The young warrior beside Magen yelled.

"Don't do that," Magen sighed and shook her head.

"I knew letting you spend too much time with Chibilamb had its downsides," she complained.

"What was that, Magen? Oh, for a moment there, I thought you said Down Slides," he jested as depicting a downward slide with his hand gestures.

"Ok. Stop it, Sinna. You're getting on my nerves now," Magen replied.

"I wish Sohera were here to knock some sense into you. Where is she anyway? It's a Saturday morning for crying out loud," She continued

"She had an appointment this morning. An interview with one of the top universities she applied to," the silver-haired Sinna responded.

"Oh wow! Good for her!" Magen replied.

Just then, Magen's attention was drawn to the image of a fellow AOTL warrior waving from the foot of the mountain. The name under his player cursor on the screen was Perez.

"Good job, Magen. Some of my peeps are still underground searching to see if there are any more of those Edgy guys left," Magen heard him say through her earpiece as she watched him give her a thumbs up on the screen.

"You left us some leftovers. That was very kind of you," Magen responded in a very flat unenthusiastic tone.

"I knew you guys were probably getting bored up there. So, I let a few slip by. Besides, we're only meant to break through, scatter them and toss them up for the scavengers up there to finish them off,"

"Scavengers? Also, don't you think Magen might be hinting on how rusty you've grown? Your platypus unit needs more training," Another voice chuckled through Magen's earpiece.

"Platypus, that's new," Magen responded.

"Yeah, it's the only animal I could think of that might resemble a spearhead and burrows through the ground," the other voice answered.

"Ohh... Now I can't unsee that!" Magen blurted out through laughter.

"Well played, joker. You got her to laugh," Perez sighed.

"Well, compliments to the clown who started it all. I couldn't have done it without you, bro," the other voice responded.

Magen laughed even more.

"You guys... have the best bromance ever! Thank you! You just made my day," she said, after taking in a deep breath.

"Magen dear, you are always welcome," Perez responded.

"Hey, Aquila! Are you sure it's those wings holding you up there? Or are you guys actually being propelled by gas? You were doing some pretty weird maneuvers today and I think I noticed some strange colored trails you left behind. Y'all should hold back on the eggs. I told you. Boy! No wonder it stinks out here. Those guys had to bury themselves in the ground again to escape your flatulence," Perez continued.

Magen cracked up again. She ended up on all fours, while Sinna and the others looked on, wondering what was happening.

"Eer Magen... you good?" Sinna asked.

She gave him a thumbs up and pointed to her earpiece while she laughed herself to tears.

"Dude. Are you it's our gas you're smelling? I mean, your mouth is right under your nose," Aquilla, the other voice on the line, responded to Perez.

"Ooohohohohohoooooo BURN!!!" Magen yelled through her laughter.

"Good one Aquila. You really are a fire-major," Perez responded.

"Guess I win today. No offense, brother," Aquila replied.

"None taken, brother. I acknowledge defeat." Perez smiled.

Magen wiped her tears as she coughed. Sinna rubbed her back still confused as to what exactly she found that funny.

Carl paced up and down within the guild master's office. The seated Jason's gaze followed him back and forth.

"Dude. Chill!" Jason yelled.

"Chill? You want me to chill? How could they just leave us here alone? Dude, we should log out right now!" Carl yelled back.

"You know Noydale has eyes on us in real life. Ok. Fine. We log out right now, then what?" Jason asked.

"You should listen to Carl. Logging wouldn't be a bright idea," said the deep voice from behind them.

Jason and Carl spun around quickly to discover a ten-foot-tall hooded figure in Edgy Edge attire. He took off his hood, revealing the head of a black panther, with a white lightning bolt mark on his forehead.

"B-black Thunder!" Carl's voice broke as he called out. Jason was frozen stiff with his eyes almost bulging out.
