The cool Autumn breeze blew, dry fallen leaves dancing along with the tune of the wind, while the people of New york went about their usual evening, purchasing all the necessities for the upcoming traditional world wide event. Yes, it was mid October which meant that Halloween was just around the corner, four days away to be exact. It was also Emilia's favorite holiday, so of course, she was going on a crazy shopping spree, which took her until 9:eewgreat, they had been on a couple of dates where they had gotten to know each other even better, but still has not revealed their relationship to the public, nor their closest friends. They decided that they wanted to see where it would go before they let a bunch of other strangers, their schoolmates. As for their friends, they wanted them to figure it out on their own.
At this moment Emilia was exiting a cute antique store, where she had just bought dozens of Halloween decorations and costumes. She was earlier accompanied by Ace, but he had left a few hours ago to meet with his father, so he informed Emilia to contact him as soon as she was finished up, so he could pick her up. She did not, of course, typical Amanda move. She decided that she would walk around for a bit, completely unaware of the danger a woman can be placed in.
As she walk down the lonely streets of Manhattan, now 10:30 PM, weirdly unafraid, she thought about these past weeks she had spent with Ace and how their relationship was progressing. So far, they had been on three dates, not including the one in the forest, and Ace has never failed to treat her with caring and utter respect, which is one of the reasons she had come to New York in the first place, to gain respect from someone as an ordinary person and not a queen.
All of a sudden, she was rudely pulled out of her thought by the sound of whistling and cat calls.
"Ooh da*m girl. You look lonely, I bet I could give you the best company tonight. What do yah say?" One of the three men said. He hand a long beard and a beer belly, and stood about 6'3 feet. Let's call him, thing 1.
Emilia, like the classy girl she is paid them no mind, continuing her journey.
"Come on baby girl, don't be like that." Thing 2 decided to chirp up. Then he did something that would turn out to be the biggest mistake of his life.
He grabbed Emilia by the shoulder.
Edwardo, who was of course following close behind, spread up to get to the princess's rescue, but alas, the King and Queen did not raise a coward, and Emilia immediately proves that by grabbing her harasser's hand that was planted on her shoulder, spun around quickly and smashed the back of his elbow into her knee, breaking it instantly.
Edwardo, though not surprised, was simply stunned for a moment, before continuing to make his way towards Emilia, but is immediately told to stay put.
"But, ma'am."
"I said, stand down." Emilia ordered this time, which caused Ed to zip it and stay put.
Thing 2, whom looked rather skinny and angry with unshaven face and a Mohawk, decided to act brave and aggressively approach Emilia, attempting to punch her face, but Emilia was quick to dodge his hit and punch him in the throat, not hard enough to kill him, but hard enough to cut off his breathing for a few seconds, then finished him off by kicking his feet away, causing him to land flat on the face while gripping his throat. Let me tell you, that hurt like a mothertrucker.
Thing 3 looked like your average crack head, nothing stood out, he didn't look extremely strong and muscular or anything, maybe that's why he took off running as soon as he saw his friends faith. Soon after, his friends followed his action, limping away.
Pfft, pathetic.
Emilia doesn't make an effort to go after him tho, instead she turned to Edwardo.
"Get one of our men to find him, and hurt him." she ordered sternly, no one was to escape unharmed.
"Yes ma'am." Edwardo nodded and took out his phone to pass on the instructions to his men.
Emilia thought as she continued her journey home.
She might have came here under disguise to live a normal life, but she is not dumb enough to let just anyone do whatever they wanted. There was one thing that peaked her interest tough, and that was the matching crescent moon tattoo that sat below the men's ears, which could symbolize that they were either really into matching tattoos or they were members of a nearby gang, which she knew could stir up trouble for her in the future.
"And one more thing, Edwardo...their wore matching tattoos of a crescent moon under their left ears, find out what that is about. Thank you." was all she said and Ed nodded.
Meanwhile... at a warehouse on the outskirts of the City...
Ace sat on a chair in the empty room while he watched his father beat the crap out of a man tied up on a metal chair in the middle of the room.
"Now, I am only going to ask this once, and if you don't give me a satisfactory answer, I promise, i will make you regret the day you were born." Jackson, Ace's father threatened. "Where are my stolen goods?" The man in the metal chair glared at him with hatred before spitting on Jackson's polished shoe.
Jackson sighs deeply. "I really liked these shoes." he says sadly before turning to a bored Ace. "He's all yours son." Jack says before striding out of the room. A few minutes later, all that could be heard throughout out the room was cries and scream of agony, and as soon as Ace got the answers he wanted out of the man, he immediately put a bullet between the man's eyes.
"Excuse me sir." Ace was interrupted by one of his men. He was annoyed until he saw who it was. It was one of the trainees that he had assigned to look after his girlfriend.
"I have something to tell you, regarding miss Williams."
"What is it? Is she okay?" Ace asks, instantly in a panic.
"It's about something that happened today, sir."
