Verona and Reina flew for 2 days before reaching the outskirts of the capital.

"Reina, what's your magic affinity?" Verona asked as they landed in a forest.

"I was a commoner before Mistress changed me. I'm sorry I don't know." Reina said with disappointment.

"Hmm, alright come here." Verona said and Reina walked and stopped in front of her.

Verona conjured mana on the tip of her finger and tapped Reina's head. Reina held her head in pain, and her pores started visibly absorbing mana. This process lasted for about 5 minutes and Reina stood up.

"Try conjuring a magic circle." Verona said interested in Reina's magic affinity.

Reina put her hands out in front of her and conjured a red magic circle.

"Now fire it." Verona ordered.

Reina fired the spell and a red lightning bolt struck a distant tree, igniting it.

"Interesting, it seems you originally had a lightning affinity, and the demon heritage mutated it. That red bolt felt more chaotic and deadly." Verona said with a look of satisfaction.

"Thank you, Mistress! You have once again shown me something I would never see in my commoner lifestyle. I don't know how to repay you, the only way I can think of is with my heart, soul, and body!" Reina said as she kowtowed so hard her head hit the floor.

"Hahaha, c'mon let's go." Verona said as she walked away.

They were about an hour's walk away from the gate of the capital. Verona casted two illusion spells and changed her features once again. This time she had fair skin, flaming red hair, soft blue eyes, and her height shrunk from 7 feet to 5'10. Reina also had a large change. She had fair skin, the same red hair as Verona, crystal blue eyes, and went from 6'5 to 5'8. If one were to look, they would look like sisters.

"Reina, when we get into the capital you will no longer call me Mistress. It will be Sister or Big Sister. Understand?" Verona said sternly.

"Yes, Mistress!" Reina said saluting.

"Our names in the capital shall be, Verona Lockheart and Reina Lockheart. Don't worry about my name, tons of people are named after me." Verona said as they arrived at the line.

"Okay, Big sister!" Reina said playing her role a little too well.

They arrived at the front of the line and the guard asked for the entry fee.

"2 silvers or 200 coppers, doesn't matter." The guard said flatly.

Verona only had gold, so she placed a gold coin in the guard's hand before whispering.

"Keep the change." She patted his back and they both walked into the capital.

"Woaaahh!" Reina said looking around like the capital like the country bumpkin she is.

"C'mon Reina, we have to buy suitable clothes for the Academy entrance exam." Verona said as she pulled Reina by her hand.

"Mis- I mean, Big Sister. I'm not a 2-star Magus though. How will I pass the entrance exam?" Reina asked as they arrived at a clothing shop for nobles.

"You remember those shiny rocks you picked up from the Baron's treasury?" Verona whispered as they picked out some nice matching skirts, stockings, shirts, bras, and panties. She also picked out some hair ribbons to match the outfits. She may be a genocidal demon, but at least she has taste.

"Yeah, what about them?" Reina asked as she also found some hair ribbons she thought would look cute on her Mistress.

"I told you, those are mana stones. They are solidified mana, so they help someone achieve higher ranks faster. The ones you picked up are of medium quality but should be enough for both of us to rank up at least twice." Verona said as she paid the store owner and walked out with their bags.

"I forgot teehee." Reina said following Reina to a magic shop.

Inside the magic shop, they found low, medium, and high quality, wands, and staves.

"Big Sister, I thought we already had weapons?" Reina said, hinting at the blade at her waist.

"Martial weapons, what about magic ones? Sure we can shoot mana out of our hands but that wouldn't be efficient and we would lose mana a lot faster." Verona said as she looked at the high-quality staves and wands.

'Mistress knows so much! I have to live up to her expectations!' Reina said to herself.

"Pick out a wand or staff." Verona said to Reina, as she found a black wand with gold runic engraving.

Reina looked around and picked a wooden staff with a red gem at the tip.

They paid for their items and found a high-class inn. The inn had a price of 20 silvers per night and came with a hot bath, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even a high-class sex slave if someone wanted to relieve stress.

"We have about 2 platinum and 300 gold left. Along with those jewels, money shouldn't be a problem." Verona said.

"Now time to cultivate!" Verona said as she took out 9 bluish-white mana stones. She showed Reina how to absorb them and started absorbing them herself.

She felt a great rush of mana flow through her mana veins and hit her core. The blue mana turned crimson red as it traveled throughout her body, she continued this process until her mana core was full. She filled it up to the brim and it expanded, she filled it up again and it expanded once more. Her pores let out steam and she moaned in pleasure.

"I'm a 4-star Magus now, still a long way to go before I reach my previous level of power." Verona said looking at Reina achieve 3-star Magus.

"Time to dominate the entrance exams!"
