Ragnarök, a word with more than one meaning. For some, it is the end of everything, the End War, the Fall of the Norse Gods.

For others, however, it is the beginning of a new Era brought upon by the wielder of the ancient power Fimbulwinter passed down to the most worthy amongst the Jötuns, the frost giants.

But with the death of its previous host, Fimbulwinter is transferred to Loki Jökul, the son of a Viking father and a Frost Giant mother.

To escape the watchful eyes of Odin, Loki's soul is transferred to another body in another world far from the nine realms, Gleymaheim.

But was it the safest decision? Gleymaheim is a world engulfed in the flames of war. Everyday, the inhabitants struggle to survive against beings coming out of Portals leading to somewhere unknown.

Thus begins a new Saga.

Disclaimer:

- The characters in this fiction are imaginary.

- The Old Norse Mythology used in this book won't

necessarily be the same one that you know of.

- Unlike my other novel, I'll try to keep this more within the trends, but in my own way.

- Compare to my other work, this one will have a softer magic system, if you've read my other work you'll understand what I mean.

- Update will be slow for now because I need to focus on my other novel. But they'll pick up in two weeks.

Only one chapter has been released, the writing quality is amazing and the description of Loki's new body is great. Few parts were so good that I could imagine the scene in my mind. Looking forward for more amazing chapters.

There's only one chapter out so far, so there isn't too much I can say as to a review. What I can say, however, is that this is a very promising start. The lore was brilliantly told through contextually appropriate, moderate exposition, The writing is clear and easy to read, and the premise is intriguing. A minor gripe, and it's bound to happen given this platform, but I did notice some grammatical errors along with poorly chosen word choices. Nothing extensive, but moderate editing would really polish this gem. I've bookmarked this Novel, so clearly I think it has major potential. I look forward to reading more.

Thanks to Marvel's production, Scandinavian mythology is experiencing a real renaissance recently. The figure of Thor, the god of thunder, who is worthy to pick up the hammer of Mjölnir, appeared in comics a long time ago, in the early 1960s (BTW great books). Together with Thor, the comics and films adapted the rest of the Scandinavian pantheon, led by Odin and Loki. Marvel draws handfuls from Nordic beliefs, often simplifying them and adapting them to modern plot patterns, but the world of Asgard is built skillfully and consistently. The Scandinavian mythology is now reached by many authors and their books are very popular. So it is a well-chosen topic.

Even with a single chapter, this chapter starts off very strong. I liked how the dialogues in the story, doesn't feel forced at all. I am already in love with the writing style, and the world building. I am looking forward to how you will use Norse mythology with the given context. And I am lookin forward to what it has stored for me! Keep up the good work!
