Preparing for the Coming Storm

After receiving word that the fortress was about to be attacked by an unknown party. Berengar was quick to get to action. While his guests dined on the food that he provided them, he quickly departed from the cabin and dispatched his orders. The hundreds of marines who were beneath his command gathered in the courtyard of the makeshift fortress as they awaited their king's speech.

Berengar stood at attention in front of his men, in the snowing weather, with his rifle slung over his back. He gazed at his soldiers in front of him with a broad smile. Since these men were marines, they were not dressed in the black and gold tunics of the Army, instead their uniforms and greatcoats were a navy blue. As for their cuirasses and pickelhaube helmets, they were still painted black, with brass accents.
