Shine was so shocked that his body almost fell backward. Alice quickly caught it to keep Shine from falling.

Immediately the little one hugged Alice tightly like a child who missed his mother very much.

A sob could be heard in Alice's ear and felt on the skin of her neck the warm liquid of the child's tears.

"Hmm, why are you crying? I've come as promised. Shine can't cry otherwise I'll be sad and feel guilty," Alice coaxed the little one.
