Alice fell silent. Her heart ached to hear Troy's story about Shine. It felt like crying but in front of her Lion was sitting watching her.

"Remember, Rose, don't get too emotional. Everyone loves you but you are needed more by your baby at this time," said Lion.

"Can I speak to Shine now, Lion? I miss him," Alice asked pleadingly.
