TRAUMA OF A CHILD

"You're awake? Is anyone sick? Where? Let me call the doctor to check you again!" asked Alice gently with concern.

Instead of answering, the girl was frightened when she saw Alice.

"Don't hit me!" she stammered.

Hearing the child's interrupted sentence, Alice gasped. Who will hit her? That's Alice's current thought.

"Don't hit me!" said the little girl stuttered.

"Hey, who's going to hit you? Don't be afraid, kid!" Alice said trying to calm her down.

The little girl shook her head vigorously and was getting scared when Alice wanted to touch her.

"No! Don't hit! It hurts!" said the child who looked increasingly hysterical.

Alice was flabbergasted by the girl's attitude and thought about what had happened to the child.

Alice swiftly hugged the little girl even though it was a little difficult because the child kept moving and fighting Alice's embrace.
