Taylor King rushed into the house with one other man following close behind. Both looked so alike, one would think they're twins. The air around the house seemed to get cold all of a sudden.Dorin and Dr Elise had managed to calm Eric enough for him to return to bed and lay down.
"Ric, are you alright?" Taylor bent down and took his brother's hand in his.
"Yeah. Tay, you won't believe it, they are real dragons!" Eric said in a weak voice.
"Yes, I know, and everything will be fine."
"You know?"
"We will talk when you gain your strength. Rest for now." Taylor turned to look at the other beds, and found out that the girl's were yet to gain consciousness.
"How long before I can take him home?" He asked looking at both doctors. The war was about to begin and Taylor knew that this house would the the first to face Ryphonsus and his wrath. There was no way he'd leave his baby brother in the middle of this. And besides, he didn't even tell Eric about them being hunters,as he thought dragons were long extinct.
"In a few days..." "How long exactly is a few days doc?" Dr Elise was cut short and she looked towards Dr Dorin for help.
"Taylor, calm down. He's going to be all right..." "There's a war heading straight to your house,Dorin, and you know that! So don't tell me to calm down."
"Nothing will happen to any of these three," Tyrone said from the doorway. "They will be out of here before the war knocks at our front door, trust me. It's my responsibility to make sure nothing happens to them."
"What's going on?" A weak voice came from the bed, laced with panic. "What war?" Eric's sudden question made the adults realize that they had been arguing in front of him.
The man in a black tuxedo looked around at everyone, and as if on queue, they all left the room, all but the Taylor and his bodyguard, giving them the privacy they needed.
"Ric, it's something I wanted to tell you," Taylor sat on the chair by the bed. "Remember how you wanted to become a knight and slay a dragon, saving the damsel in distress when you were a little boy?"
"Yeah... so?"
"Well, we are real knights. Your grandpa, great grandpa, and so on, hunted dragons. I'm a knight, and you will become a knight when you turn twenty-one.
"Wait.. what? You're joking, right?" Disbelief was clearly evident in Eric's voice. Besides Taylor was a business man who was into construction and building equipment. Him? A hunter? What kind of trick was he playing now? Never in his entire existence did Eric ever hear the word 'dragon' or 'knight' out of his brothers mouth, and now he's telling him that he is a knight.
Though he didn't want to believe it, a small part of him somehow did know that his brother wouldn't lie. He himself had seen that girl transform into an orange dragon, burn through the iron bars and escape with them. Her claws were real, so was the fire she spat out. How could he deny seeing that?
"I know you don't believe me right now, but it's true," Taylor replied.
"Why didn't you tell me this before?"
"I had thought they had gone extinct. There were no sightings of them, or any news... I thought... I'm sorry."
"You put our lives in danger! Not only me but my friends as well! What were you thinking?" Eric's scream sounded more like an eagle screeching. Hurt was loud and clear in his voice, and Taylor knew that even if he thought the video was just a prank, he shouldn't have jeopardized his brother's life. If only Eric knew what he had gone through after seeing them in this state the first time.
He would have lodged an attack on these dragons had it not been for the fact they were the only ones who knew how to find Ryphonsus, the very first dragon transformed into a human. And the fact that one of these dragons could be the oracle. And not to mention another dragon whose mother is a powerful witch, and she might have inherited her powers by now.
"Ric..." "Just leave me alone."

Night had turned into the early hours of morning. Taylor was gone, leaving one of his men behind to update him and everyone was in bed. Everyone except Tyrone.
Trinity tossed and turned in bed, waiting for him, her desires too much to ignore. When Tyrone had proposed, she had said she wanted more. It was more like a tease, but now she did want more. A lot more than a kiss. Where was he?
Just when she decided to go check, the door opened slowly. In walked Mr handsome and Trinity could feel her heart beat faster. All her fantasies were creeping in her mind, all her dreams of what her first time would be like.
"Where were you?" She managed to ask her mate.
Tyrone stopped, looked towards her in surprise and said, "I thought you were asleep!" As he closed the door behind him.
"That doesn't answer my question."
"Patrick and I were... Trinity, I know how you feel right now, I feel the same burn inside me, but I don't want you to regret anything later," Tyrone said, sitting on the bed beside her. "You know, cold water..." Trinity put her hand on his mouth. "Ty, I do want this. I don't know the outcome of this war that's hanging in the air, and I don't wanna die a virgin," saying this, Trinity moved closer and kissed her mate.
Sparks flew as Dragonia and Drake stired within them, and everything seemed to stop.
The entire room was filled with the scent of love, and they both unleashed their desires, that were buried deep inside their hearts on each other. Before they went further than kissing each other, Tyrone once again asked her for permission, and said she just needs to just say the word if she wanted him to stop at any moment, before their clothes flew in the air.
