Naruto P.O.V

It's been a week since we began to live with Rimuru Tempest. He really is a mysterious person but I just feel like I can trust them somehow.

The thing I just don't like is that creepy father of his. He clearly didn't act like a father to Rimuru or us. He's more like her servant.

There are no other weird things that happen after the incident but I'm more concerned for tomorrow's event.

It is Mina and I's birthday! I'm not that particularly excited about that but I'm more excited about what will happen after that.

It is because Rimuru told us that he will allow us to train once we turns 5 and that was tomorrow! Or should I say 1 hour later?

I don't know why but Rimuru suddenly waked us up earlier without saying anything. The birthday can wait until tomorrow.

"Naruto! Don't open the window, it's cold." Mina said as I closed the window that I opened.

"I told you to call me Brother." I scolded but she just ignored it.

"You're just 5 minutes older than me." She said.

"You're no fun."

"I'm not a toy."

'Cold as always.'

After that sibling talk, we saw the door of our room opening and it was Rimuru with her father.

"Happy birthday, Minami, Naruto." She greeted us.

"Thanks!"

"Thank you. Then, what do you really want?" Mina asked her as I looked at them in confusion.

"I'm just here to give you a birthday from me." She said but Mina didn't look convinced.

"Then why not tomorrow?"

"Cause, of course, I'm not planning to give the present to you that easy. You need to work hard." She said mysteriously.

"First, I'll give you a riddle. That problem will get you to another and another problem until it takes you from the violet or the last riddle. The time limit is sunset. Once the sunset comes and you still didn't complete it, then you lose. But if you finished it before sunset, then you win. Get it?" She explained as we both nodded.

She then gives Mina a blue-green card with ramen in it and on the other side is a sentence without any Kanji in it.

It was a simple instruction but I feel like it will not become as simple as it seems. Who knows when the mouse becomes a fox.

"Start. When is the start?" Mina asked as Rimuru said it will be 5 hours from now that is 4 am.

"If you don't have any questions then listen to what I'm going to say carefully, Don't Trust Anyone On Your Way, Happy Birthday." She said as the two both vanished in thin air.

Her voice echoed my ears as it gives shivers down my spine. What could it be?

Minami P.O.V

After the two vanished, I saw Naruto shake a little. It is not a coincidence. Naruto's instinct is far greater than everyone saw it shouldn't be ignored.

We both looked all over the house but there is no single trace of them even existing. Who are they, really.

After we decided to take her little test seriously, I look at the card carefully and read the first riddle.

"I am made by humans but for gods to have. I'm rich but I am cheap. I am praised by number one. But he is the only one." I said loud enough for us to hear.

I somehow have some Idea what it is but still a little hard. It is said for the gods but who are those gods?

Sigh. If only I have someone to ask. I can ask Naruto but he is just a smart muscle head so hints will be enough.

I just don't get why do we need to leave the house when we have those guards that always eyeing us. So annoying.

The Idea I have is the number one is the Hokage but it can probably be someone else. Who else is number one?

"Mina. I feel like It is somehow related to food." Naruto said as I heard a click in my head and I flip the card over.

'So this picture is the hint. Ramen, huh? Then it is most likely the Ichiraku Ramen shop. But who is the number one?'

"Ah... The ramen yesterday is really delicious. It is maybe near Teuchi-san's ramen!" I heard Naruto shouted as I smiled unconsciously.

After that little moment, I again looked at the card.

'So the hints are on the same card. And that means Naruto is the number one as he is like that shop's number one customer. I also always hearing his rant about ramen being food of god.'

"The answer is the Ichiraku Ramen Shop." I said as I dragged him out.

"Wow! You really are smart, Mina!" He praised me as I just smiled at him.

'You too.'

"Oh, Why are you two up so early? It is just four." Teuchi said as we greeted them.

"Please give us the card, now." I said as he smiled a little.

"In one condition." He said as he called sister Ayame.

She then shows us a monstrous amount of ramen in one bowl. It is like the combination of 10 regular ramen.

"I'll give you the card once you finish this bowl in one hour. You can only choose one representative to eat this and the other one will wait. Who will you choose?" He asked as I began to eat.

It is simple for me to choose Naruto as he can do this every day. But we are talking about this time. Such heavy food in the morning is too much even in Naruto.

He will not be able to help me later if that happens. But I also can't do it as I can't think when I'm so full. If only... Wait. Why am I hesitating? Not good.

If I know he can do it, he can do it. I only need to fully trust him. Brother trusts me with everything so now I need to trust him.

Sigh. I wonder why am I getting so worked up with these playthings?

20 minutes have passed, Naruto finally finished the whole bowl. It takes much time as his stomach is still full when we get here.

After that, Teuchi finally congratulate us about passing and gave us an indigo-colored card with a house in it.

"I am a dream of the others, a nightmare of my owners. They are chosen by the others and will choose the others. I am own black, white, brown, yellow, and every different color."

I said as we both looked at it in confusion. The riddle suddenly becomes 10 times more difficult than the first one.

"Yes. They are much doing well then I estimated." Rimuru said as he swayed his sword to remove something from it.

"What am I going to do with these?" Diablo asked as Rimuru looked where he is pointing at.

"Leave it. We're done here." He said as the two walked away from the scene.
