Sebastian
Blake Michaels lives a simple life, with all the girls he can sleep with, all the parties he can go to, and dominating football. Nothing can stop this boy's epic college experience. He's not looking for anything, what else could a hot guy who has everything possibly want? It's not like Blake parties, drinks, and has meaningless hook up because he's missing something. This is college life at its peak, work a little to party a lot... what a motto.
All of that normal wasn't prepared for the turn around Blake was about to face, from the moment it happened Blake didn't even try to hide or deny. This was it— his awakening. Anything before this was a blur, the moment Blake Michaels started seeing clearly was when his eyes landed on Sebastian Drake for the first time.
No one's ever accurate at describing what seeing the love of your life for the first time would feel like. It's silly to say but Blake was sure, 20 years of life was enough for him to be sure, no one has ever affected him like this. Whoever this boy is it's someone Blake needed to know.
It happened at the skate park, somewhere Blake would never find himself but luckily for him, he had to meet a friend there "Why the fuck are we here?" Blake complains to his friend taking pictures of his surroundings
"I need to capture some locations on campus for my project," Magnus answers, "don't be a snob, skaters are people too."
"I'm not being anything," he replies while getting a panoramic view of the entire park. "I just don't get—" Blake's sentence is cut short when his wandering eyes land on a boy.
Airborne with full force as the wind blows right through him, it's like the boy was flying. The way the sun was hitting his skin and made it seem as if the boy was almost glowing, that's not possible, right? People don't glow. Staring from a distance as Magnus is distracted, Blake keeps his eyes on him, who was he? How come Blake's heart felt like this with just one look?
Doing flips and tricks on the half-pipe, Blake finds himself smiling at the other guy's reactions standing around cheering him on, maybe they're his friends. Maybe this guy was a professional, he sure skates like one. When he's done the boy stops at the center of the ramp and climbs off his board picking it up.
"That was fucking sick!" Blake here's one say as they all charge for him jumping and cheering on him, "dude we have to upload this tonight!" Even with the distance, Blake could hear their voices, the wind carried it over so clearly.
"Let's get out of here I'm starving," the boy finally spoke, picking up all their things the boys head towards the exit to leave the park, which so happens to be where Blake is standing. Averting his eyes when he realizes their walking towards him, Blake tries to look anywhere else but fails as the boy walks by him. What Blake wasn't expecting was for their eyes to meet as he walks by, the boy doesn't register the look but Blake does. It's quick but he got a look of the boy's face up close.
"Ready to go?" Magnus turns to his friend who is very lost in his thoughts, "hey?" He taps Blake's shoulder, Blake turns to him and Magnus asks again, "ready? I'm done" to which Blake just nods.
Skater boy has brown curls that stop at his neck, a wide contagious smile Blake got to see up close as he walked by, and brown eyes.
Blake's never been for brown eyes but on skater boy they were different, almost reminded Blake of honey. None of this is anything Blake thought he liked, let's start with the fact that skater boy is in fact a boy, Blake has liked boys before but he's never acted on those feelings, or there wasn't a boy to make him feel this much after just one look. But of all the boys on campus, how could skater boy be his type?
Blake likes blonde girls with big breasts and a complex he could bend to his will, yeah he's a college boy— they're gross. Skater boy definitely wasn't a blonde girl with breasts, the boy had on a hoodie almost twice his size and dark baggy jeans. Was that his style? Big clothes to hide behind, who says he's hiding? Shaking the thought out of his head Blake tries not to give him a complex, maybe he just likes baggy clothes.
Blake underestimated the size of their college campus, because it's been three whole days and he has yet to run into skater boy again. But he was doing everything all wrong, Blake expected to see the boy at places he likes to frequent, but then it dawned on him that he's never seen the boy at those places before, so why would the boy start going now? Skater boy didn't go to the campus gym, any of the lounges, or the local bar that doesn't card when he goes drinking.
Going back to the skate park didn't help either because the boy hasn't been back since, or at least he's not there when Blake goes to check.
"When's your next game?" His friend Tara asks as they're walking out of class "Not for a couple of weeks, why?"
She shrugs, "just wondering." As they're walking she can't help but notice her friend's eyes all over the place, frantically scanning every face
the passes by. "Who are you looking for?" Tara asks staring at the direction Blake is looking "No one," he quickly looks back at her to stop looking at everyone else
"Okay... want to get lunch with me at the campus cafe?" "God no the food there is gross,"
"Oh, you can do better?"
"As a matter of fact I can," he answers
"Wow, a jock that cooks? Your future wife's one lucky lady" "Yeah..." as if he'd ever get married, Blake thinks.
"But anyways come with me I hate eating alone," Blake is reluctant but Tara grabs his arm and begs, "please I'll buy you something, anything you want"
"Fine," he sighs giving in.
