Chapter 50: Jealousy

Emily didn't mean to say that out of jealousy. Although she was a little jealous that Aria could get such gentle care from Lucas, she also understood that even without Aria, she would not have the chance to be together with Lucas. Instead of someone he didn't love, it would be better for him to be together with Aria. At least it was what he hoped for.

Lucas said gently without looking up, "Please adjust the afternoon schedule and give me two hours. I promised Aria to have lunch with her."

Lucas read the document carefully with his head down. The sun shone through the window on his gentle face.

Emily looked at Lucas quietly and her gaze gradually softened.

"Got it, Mr. Edmonds, I'll arrange it."

Someone knocked on Lucas's door.

Aria stood at the door and looked at the two seriously. In Emily's eyes, Aria saw deep love.

The assistant loved Lucas.
