Chapter 2 - Encounter and Changes?

Akira was currently in a public restroom standing in front of a mirror. When she had woke up in this world, she didn't have a chance to look at a mirror to know her appearance has changed. She now had sky-blue hair and ocean-blue eyes. Her height was about 170cm before but now, she wasn't taller than 164cm. She looked younger, too. Before her transmigration, she was twenty. But, now, seeing herself in the mirror, she didn't look older than fifteen?

"System, why do I look different? And why do I look younger?"

*It's because you have to choose your path in this world and make differences with your actions. In order to maximize your involvement, your age has to match with the main characters. As for why your appearance has changed, it's because your quirk has influenced your body. *

After listening to System's explanation, she asked, "Does that mean I have a quirk now?"

*You have a quirk now. But, in order to unlock it, you have to complete missions first.*

"Why do I feel that you're no different from the systems I've seen in those novels?" She pouted.

*System's missions are for your own growth. Please don't badmouth System, Akira-Chan.*

"....."

Midoriya Izuku was having a terrible day. He had been told to die by his childhood friend Bakugo and his favourite hero, All Might, crashed his dreams. He was now left on a rooftop alone.

"If you wanna be a hero that much, there's an efficient way. Believe to have a quirk in your next life and dive off from the school roof."

He remembered Bakugo's words. Although it wasn't that hard to say he wasn't diving off the roof that time, it was a different story now. His favourite hero just crushed his dreams by saying he couldn't be a hero because he didn't have a quirk. His world was crumbling.

"You're Midoriya Izuku??"

A curious voice had brought him back to his senses and he realized he had been standing at the edge of the building. If he had took another step, he would've been dead.

"Don't tell me you're planning to jump off..!!"

Akira shrieked as she tried to grab Midoriya.

"I....I don't know what came over me..Maybe I was just as pathetic as Kacchan said,huh? I really thought for a second that it might work.."

Akira frowned at his words. Although she can't really remember what happened to Midoriya Izuku after Bakugo told him to jump off the roof, she was sure Midoriya lived. Because he was a main character, obviously.

"You mean Bakugo? He's just a bully....You shouldn't take his words to heart."

"He's my childhood friend.. He just says it like that because I'm a useless quirkless Deku and he's so strong..He's really going to be a great hero."

"I don't think he can be a good hero if he doesn't fix that kind of attitude."

Akira didn't remember much about Bakugo as well. She just remembered he was a bully to Midoriya and ended up as a villain's hostage. It's actually because of the god that she couldn't remember future events taking place in this world after her transmigration. But, if it means to the past events of the character, she can still remember it.

"But Kacchan has a strong quirk. There's no way he's not gonna be a hero."

"Haven't you seen villains? They can have strong quirks and be villains too. So, why is the quirk the most important factor to be a hero? I don't think quirks are the main factor to become a hero. But, of course , if you don't have a quirk, you'll need to make up with some skills because heroes need to beat villains to save people."

Akira just said what she thought was right. In her opinion, that is one of the most annoying things in MHA world. She just couldn't believe how those people in MHA world are over obsessed with quirks that they sometimes forget the simple things and how they can do some things without quirks.

"Don't you think I'm useless because I don't have a quirk? and you even think I can be a hero without a quirk?"

"Why not?"

Midoriya Izuku was amzaed. In his whole life, he had never heard of anyone saying he could be a hero even without a quirk. And now, someone was finally saying he could be a hero. Tears were falling down his cheeks but he didn't even notice. Not that it mattered now, though.

"Thank you.. You have no idea how much to means to me."

Midoriya finally said as he rubbed his tears clean.

"Oh, trust me. I do."

Akira just smiled.

"Wait..I don't remember telling you my name. How do you even know me?!"

Only after his adrenalins wear off, he remembered this issue. Akira bit her lip as she was at lost on how to explain her slipping his name. But, she actually didn't need to worry as system notified her of her reward on completing the mission.

'..Since you say it like that, what else can I say?' Akira just sighed.

Although Akira and system were talking for a while, not much time had passed in real world.

"I'm actually his cousin, Sasaki Akira. But, just call me Akira. I've heard about you." Akira said.

"Really? I don't remember seeing you around, though. Do you live in another city?"

"Yeah, I'm actually from Osaka."

"So, that's how it is. I'm glad I met you today..If not for you, I don't know if I would still be alive...So, Thank you very much!!!"

"It's fine..I'm actually glad that I met you too.."

Akira mumbled quietly. If not for meeting the main character, how could she have completed the mission?

"It's late now. I think I should go home. See you later, Akira-Chan!"

"Yeah, see you, Midoriya!!"

"Bonus rewards? What're they?"

*If you completed a mission, you get normal rewards. If you triggered some good changes along with completing the mission, you get bonus rewards.*
