Flashback. Nine and a halfish weeks ago at an undisclosed location.

Phil Coulson stood in front of Director Nick Fury and relayed the events of his last mission to him. When Fury heard that Dragon requested that he'd like them to not keep any records of him he was a bit skeptical.

So he just asked Coulson what he found out about him to which Coulson responded " His suit seems to be made of Carbon fiber and Kevlar. But judging from the quality it has to be custom made, the design was advanced but not mechanical.

He's skilled, decisive, a bit ruthless but he has a strong sense of morals. Based on what little he let slip, he grew up in one of the less fortunate neighborhoods in Brooklyn. He has immense potential but his strong morals will make it hard for him to become a field agent sir."

Fury thought for a while and asked "Do you think he could be that Alex Smith kid? " Coulson pondered and said " There is only a 10% chance of that being the case sir. We kept tabs on him while he was at MIT and he practiced no form of Martial arts, he doesn't even work out.

But there is a 60% chance he knows who Dragon is and a 79% chance he's working with him. He is the only person in Brooklyn capable of making something that complex."

Fury just raised an eyebrow and asked " Why do you think he's so unlikely to be Dragon?" Coulson replied " He's way too paranoid, he blocked off the windows on the lower floors of his building and personally replaced his windows with bulletproof glass.

When he buys food he buys enough to last him several months and the only time he sets foot outside is to see his parents off."

Fury tapped his fingers on his desk before he said " Limit his records to a single hard copy, he seems to have either a family or people he cares for. This will be the way to convince him, it'll take a while but it'll happen eventually. How's the kid's businesses coming along?"

"He's expanding more and more each day, I think he planted spies amongst his companies because he seems to know most of what happens in them. Our spies on the other hand aren't making much progress, he makes his core products personally and only guides his R&D department. Like I said, he's paranoid sir."

" Is he really? We are after all spying on him. Let me know if there's new developments." Fury said this and walked out of the base and into a waiting chopper.

Coulson had a nagging feeling at the back of his head but he ignored it and went on with his work.

Eight weeks ago.

After looking at himself for a bit and getting the nutrition list from A.N.G.I, Alex went to look at the footage of his evolution. The entire evolution took 14 hours, Alex watched as his body started blinking glowing with gold and purple lights.

Then his bones broke one by one and his body shrunk and transformed into a two meter long Golden Dragon. 33.3% of his length was comprised of his head, horns, torso and limbs, the remaining 66.3% was his tail.

He looked like the fusion between an Eastern and a Western dragon, his body was sleek yet one look was all it took to know that this body was brimming with power.

He a pair of juvenile horns and some small bumps that looked like future horns. He had a single pair of wings and diamond shaped scales.

None of his appendages were sharp or awe inspiring, instead they made him look kind of cute. He didn't like that at all, he'd have to work on growing stronger.

Alex then went on to the second floor so he could adjust to his now doubled abilities. There were a few training dummies, air rifles that shoot rubber bullets and targets on the second floor.

Alex took Dragonfang and went on trying to slash the rubber bullets. He was surprised by the increase in performance, before his evolution he could only slash 1 out of 80 bullets.

Now he could slash 6 out of 80 and this was just the first round. After he got used to his newly enhanced senses and the new Dragon Instinct his progress would increase.

It may seem like 6 out of 80 bullets is impressive and it is in the eyes of an average human. But for someone like Daredevil who could avoid bullet trajectories he still had a long way to go.

The worse part is that this was 80 bullets from one gun, there are several levels that add more guns and even increase the speed of the bullets.

With the enhancement of his six senses Alex noticed a problem with his armor, his helmet affected his sense of smell, hearing and taste.

The last one wasn't too much of a problem but the other two were. So more modifications had to be made to the helmet, small holes would have to be added above the ears and nose.

Which would in turn affect the helmet's structural integrity. Or he would have to redesign the helmet and use plates to cover the sensory organs.

Alex chose the second option as it wouldn't decrease the structural integrity of the helmet too much. But on the plus side it did enhance the helmet's aesthetically .

Since he was already upgrading aspects of his armor he decided to upgrade his wrist mounted grappling gun. Instead of using compressed air, he wanted to use a rail gun to fire the hooks and claws(For embedding into hard surfaces, or into people. ).

The new gun would be able to fire grappling hooks using compressed air and the rail gun would be capable of firing grappling hooks and claws.

With the upgrades in the process of being manufactured Alex proceeded to uses 400,000 Qps to upgrade all of his Intermediate rank skills except Swordsmanship to the Advance rank.

It took 2 hours to assimilate with the knowledge due to how much there was. With everything out of the way Alex finally got some sleep.

This time he slept for two days, the mental strain from bonding with the dimensional core was immense. When he woke up the the new helmet was finished.

Since he woke up at night Alex just ate and armored up before heading out for the night. 15 minutes later he was standing on a rooftop listening to literally all the commotion happening in Brooklyn.

It took him about an hour thanks to his Dragon Instincts to be able to filter out the unwanted sounds. He listened for a bit before he heard something that pleased his ego.

Two thugs were in an alleyway talking about Dragon. Apparently on rampage night (2 nights when Dragon crippled the Aryan Brotherhood) he sent over 2,000 people to the hospital.

Alex was exasperated, he knew rumors often exaggerated but this was just stupid. He heard that Dragon cuts off body parts and eats them in front of his victims and that he could breathe fire.

The only true part of these rumors were that he sometimes cuts of some extremities and could breathe fire. But they got lucky with the second one, it was pure coincidence since he hasn't used the skill since he got it.

Dragon then jumped to the rooftop above the two thugs and looked at them before dropping down before them. It was a 5 floor drop but he didn't even feel anything.

Dragon just looked at the two thugs and reached for his sword, when the two thugs saw that one peed himself and the other fainted. Dragon was both pleased and disgusted.

Dragon got similar responses from several other thugs tonight. The thugs usually fought back but now they just try to run first.

The same kept happening for the next two months, but despite that, he managed to level up twice. He got one stat point for each physical stat and 1,000 Energy Points per level up.

His Dragon form grew 15 centimeters each level as well. Each night Dragon saw less and less thugs, so he decided that it was time to move on to the next stage of the plan.

It was time to go learn the Mystical Arts, Alex left Brooklyn and went to 177A Bleecker St. He was a tiny bit nervous, he didn't know how much the Ancient One knew about him.

Or if she'd accept him, he hoped she would otherwise he'd have to learn from lost texts scattered across the globe. He arrived at the door and just as he was about to know the door opened.

When he looked inside he saw the Ancient One sitting at a table drinking tea. He stepped inside and closed the door behind him, when he turned around she was gesturing to the seat across from her.

Alex sat and she then said " Never in my life did I think a Dragon would seek me out for guidance." Alex wasn't shocked in the least, small tendrils of his magic energy leaked out sometimes so she probably felt something or saw their encounter in the future.

The Ancient One then said " I'll guide you, teaching a Dragon is something I can brag about even in the afterlife." and tapped his chest and seperated Alex from his body from his Astral form.

It was weird as hell, it felt like he was having one of those freaky dreams you get when you're high. She returned his Astral form to his body before sending him on a trip through the multiverse while she explained how earth was only part of the much bigger multiverse.

While Alex was floating through the multiverse he saw his bonded dimension, the Dark Dimension but what took him by surprise was when he saw somewhere familiar.

He saw the middle-aged man/ Dragon who sent him here and a mature woman standing side by side. He wasn't wearing regal clothes anymore but instead a black sweatsuit matching the woman's white sweatsuit.

Alex couldn't stop and the Dragon didn't bother to stop him he just said " You still lack experience 'son', the day grows nearer." the lady next to him just waved and flashed a mesmerizing smile.

By the time he overcame his shock he was already in a new universe. He thought over the sentence he just heard and realized what it meant.

He lacked worldly experience, he mostly just locked himself up in his base, he never went out. As for the last part the day of their reunion would happen sometime soon.

He had to FastTrack learning magic and move on to the next stage of his plan. Alex looked around a bit before he felt warmth.

He passed through another dimension of lightning and absorbed some lightning subconsciously. He passed through a few more dimensions before he was brought back.

It was a surreal experience, if Alex didn't meet the old Dragon he would have thought it was fake. The Ancient One looked at Alex who was deep in thought instead of in awe or shock.

One of her favorite pass times was hazing the newbies. But considering what she saw of his future and who and what he was currently. She then proceeded to give Alex his first tasks, learning the necessary languages.

Alex went all out and learned them all in two weeks, before the moved on to making shields out of energy using sling rings. Because Alex was already bonded with a dimensional core he could either use energy from there, his own or borrow from another dimension.

For the sake of training he borrowed from a dimension, because he could already feel energy it was easy for him. Alex wasn't satisfied with what he was learning but he learned them regardless.

But when it came to attack spells he couldn't use them. He couldn't use them at all, he could make shields portals and even enter the mirror dimension but for some reason he couldn't use attack spells of binding spells.

The Ancient One saw this and just sighed and said " It has indeed come to pass. I'm afraid you will have to develop your own offensive spells. But I know of something that interests you greatly."

She opened a portal an walked through, Alex sighed in disappointment before following her. On the other side was the library, The Ancient One waved her hand and several piles of books stacked themselves before Alex.

Alex looked through them and they were either about pocket dimensions or enchantments. This was what Alex came to learn, enchantments were the only way he could fuse magic and technology.

Alex dived into the books, this time it took two months for him to master everything in the books. When he was finished he stabilized a pocket dimension 3 meters cubed in size.

It may not sound too impressive but pocket dimensions were very hard to stabilize, it was incredibly rare to find one bigger than one square meter.

Whereas for Enchantments Alex could cast an enchantment as long as material was strong enough.

Alex was finished, he no longer needed guidance from The Ancient One.

Alex bid her farewell before leaving, she didn't consider him her student and he didn't consider her his master, his pride wouldn't allow it.

After leaving Kamar-Taj Alex booked a flight to M.
