Sho Steals Yet Another Chapter

SHO

At first Sho was shocked, then hurt, then slightly angry, but now he didn't know what he should call his feelings. Why wouldn't Arlo just talk to him, he must have had a good reason for it. Unlike the little idiot who over thought everything he wasn't worried about Arlo's commitment to him.

He had traveled across the entire demon continent for him, Sho owed him his life. So what was it that bothered him so much. Sho paced the length of the room and then back. Finally he let out a sigh, no matter, if Arlo wanted a secret or two he was okay with that. Even if he didn't like it and wanted Arlo to always tell him everything, he could live with it.

Huh weird for some reason he felt great today. He glanced at his own stats and his jaw dropped, his energy has refilled. Weird but not relevant at the moment. He'd better go find that idiot before Arlo decided something random and spontaneous like Sho would hate him.

Ooh he could use the weird energy cured itself thing to make Arlo feel a bit better. After a few days the claim tidal wave would go away and Sho would happily re-claim his prize. That evil doer hadn't gone further with Arlo had he? Why didn't Arlo want him to kill Cyan? If it was just for his silly heal talent that could only be used once a year Sho would still happily snap his neck.

Find Arlo and slowly work the answers out of him when he was feeling more talkative. That was the only solution. Never jump to conclusions if it can be helped. Conclusions can only be drawn off of facts. Granted Arlo tended to break that trend, he never thought he'd show up at the dark caves for him, or that he'd somehow also bring his idiot brother with him.

Sho shook his head and got up. First things first, talk to Arlo make everything okay again. He left his room and went to the front desk looking for Arlo's room. The demon working the counter returned a second later.

"We don't have a registration under that."

"Hmm" asked Sho then rephrased his question, "a room taken about 10 minutes ago?"

"No one had signed in recently. Probably due to the rain."

Sho thanked the demon and left. If Arlo hadn't gotten a room where was he? Don't tell me he tried to go for a walk or something! Sho grumbled under his breath thinking he would totally do something like that.

He returned to his room and grabbed a raincoat from his bead. Arlo's necklace was still beside it on the table. Did that idiot go for a walk and not get a raincoat? Sho felt his gut tighten at the thought of a soaked and cold Arlo. Then his lower section also warmed at the thought of an Arlo covered in rainwater and looking amazing.

He did a sweep of the inn floors to make sure he wasn't sitting in some corner or something. Nope he wasn't inside. He pulled on his raincoat and slipped out of the inn and into the rain. Where would he have gone? Ugh why couldn't he just stay put for ten minutes while Sho thought things over?

"I should have just made him sit in the corner of the room" Sho grumbled aloud. He started searching through the general area around the inn. The back was a fenced off employee area, Arlo wouldn't be back there would he? Nah he could read, it wasn't like he'd go sit in the rain to mope right.

Sho froze and hurried to check several alleys. That totally sounded like something he would do. Oh no what if he decided something like he deserved it or he wasn't worthy. Sho frowned, Arlo just might do that.

"Idiot, I'm the one who doesn't deserve you." He practically whispered as he ran down a side street past the bakery. Come on world don't let me lose the best thing that ever happened to me.

He rounded a bend and collided with another demon.

"Sor…" his voice cut off as he saw the face under the rain hood. "Cyan" he growled.

"Well if it isn't little Whitewolf" he replied.

Sho hadn't told Arlo when he first came up with the idea that he and Cyan already knew each other. They had been in the same class once. Both being fans of the human world they had been friends for a bit, but stuff happened and now revenge would have been a better word.

He glared at him, "what did you do to Arlo." He was lucky his level was now higher than this demon. He pinned him against the bakery's stone wall. "Spill everything or I'll be spilling your blood."

A trace of fear appeared in the demon's eyes. He reached up tapping Sho's hand.

"Fine" he growled "but chill I didn't do that much."

Seeing Sho's menacing eyes he quickly added, "all I did was call him cute and basically ask if I could have him for a bit."

Sho pressed him tighter against the wall till his face started turning a dark red. He lowered the pressure again watching the demon gasp for breath. "I said don't leave anything out."

A snarl appeared on Cyan's face "fine, fine, he seemed so desperate to heal you and he was cute, I just said that if he let me have fun with him for an hour I'd move you to the top of next year's heal."

Sho could hardly maintain his composure this demon was lucky Arlo didn't want him killed. He tossed him aside like a rag and he fell to the ground.

"What did something happen between you two?" he asked mockingly.

Sho sent him a glare, "If you want to stay alive I suggest you leave before I count to three."

He let out a slight chuckle as he rose to his feet and started to leave, "If I find him first maybe I'll 'comfort' him a bit." He put emphasis on the word.

Sho couldn't hold back more than he already was but this was enough to break half of his control. Instead of snapping his neck he settled for his leg.

The demon howled in pain as Sho growled, "maybe you should think of using your next heal on yourself instead."

With that he tossed the demon aside into a pile of garbage. Then he felt sorry for the garbage, it was way too good for him. He returned to looking for Arlo and had mostly covered the entirety of Raven's Caw. Where the heck was he, at his rate it might start getting dark out. Clouds still covered the sky, it would be dark way sooner than usual.

"Arloooooo" he muttered under his breath, had he missed him in the inn somehow? Maybe he was hanging out in a shop...… where are you!

Two hours later he returned to check the inn hoping against hope that Arlo had just returned on his own or gotten a room like he was originally suppose to.

Nothing he returned to the front desk again and was about to ask when he over heard two of the employees talking.

"Yeah he's still under the roof's rim in the garden, I offered him a room if he helped with chores for the day but he turned me down. He even gave me a silver coin to just leave him alone there, something about deserving it."

"What a weird gu….."

Sho cut off the second employee, "Where!" he demanded.

Looking flustered she pointed to the back, "In the employee yard. The door kind of looks like a closet though."

Sho didn't wait for anything else and made a beeline for it. He shoved it open and looked around in the gathering darkness. At the far end half under the rim of the roof was a curled up figure with his head in his hands and a pile of black hair.

"Arlo you idiot." He muttered under his breath and he went over and scooped him up without giving him a warning first.

The form yelped and turned his eyes up to meet Sho's. The water in Arlo's eyes knocked one of his contacts out of place making his eye look half green half blue.

Seeing Sho's face Arlo whispered, "You're not mad?"

"Idiot" muttered Sho as he proceeded to kiss Arlo thoroughly for several minutes.

"You're not mad?" Arlo asked again gasping for air.

"About the early morning incident no. About you out here trying to give yourself a cold, yes." Sho replied. He wrapped his arms around Arlo's body. Arlo felt cold like he had long since stopped shivering. This wouldn't do. Sho picked him up completely and carried him back into their room.

It didn't take him long to turn the water on in the shower tub and pull all of Arlo's wet clothing off. He dropped him into the tub then pulled his own clothes off and slipped in behind him. A nice detachable shower head and a tub mostly full of warm water, perfect.

"I love you" Sho whispered, "I could never stay mad for more than ten minutes." He gently started licking the back of his neck. To his relief Arlo finally seemed to relax against him.

"I love you too." He whispered back as Sho gently started washing every part of him with shampoo.

Sho wasn't even trying and noticed Arlo already had grown stiff. He smirked a little to himself. Arlo had warmed up during the past 20 minutes, maybe now was time for some fun.

"Once that claim wears off, I'm going to stick a permanent one on you, whether you accept it or not is up to you, beautiful." Sho said quietly then before Arlo could answer he slipped his hands onto his sensitive parts.

He smirked with glee as Arlo let out his cute little gasp that he loved so much. Priceless, Arlo was worth more gold than this country could ever come up with. Even the world couldn't match him. He wrapped one arm firmly around him. No way would he ever let him go, he'd turn the world upside down if he had to.

He slipped both hands under him gently supporting him from below as he worked. Arlo trembled against him sending little waves through the water.

My treasure,

My everything,

My Arlo.

Sho grinned.
