Ah you must be anxious to get into it ay? I hope you are cosy and comfy. Who'd you like some coffee or are you more of a tea person, or do you just prefer something else? Ah silly me I'm getting off track you came here to read about "The Boy" didn't you!?

I shan't hold you any longer.

Hmm… ah yes.

This story may not begin without knowing the boy and his upbringing. For starters the Boys name is "Nathan."

Quite the familiar name. His parents Damien and Melissa are quite the troublesome duo! If their so troublesome why not give their son a more unique name that stands out… but wait… what if what the old mainstream is the new casual. I'm not sure if their elite in brain capacity or if I'm just getting old.

Ah worry not I'll get back to the story, but worry not for I may add my own input into this story of Nathan… and his comrades? friends? No no no that's too formal… hmm let's call them journey takers as he grows up in a household of 1 older sister a mom and a dad.

The day Nathan was born was very standard if you don't mind my language, very mundane. Mother screamed. Mother was in pain. Father was trying to help.

Side note… he was not helping.

But after some tough hours for this determined mother out came a healthy young boy, who was crying but a very odd cry, not the simple baby. It might just be me overthinking this, I hope.

Damien (Nathan's dad) had a stable job but a lot of debt while Melissa (Nathan's mom) was a freelance artist. This meant that they'd have to put there back into raising these two kids, but the age difference between these children was a great one and they were very different in personality. When Nathan turned 4 his personality really started to shine as he started attending his first couple of days in preschool.

I know I've jump 4 years into the future but it is a necessity in order for the story to progress, and really who wants to hear about a baby developing into his toddlers years.

Leaving his older sister at age 16 in high school. His sister was introverted and smart but was never truly able to be outspoken to anyone including her parents, but her little brother was an exception and with him going to school and finally understanding speech, it made it all the more freeing showing and teaching him the things that she likes and dislikes.

As a young boy her interests naturally begin to shape him into someone, but unusually fast. After Nathan's first couple of months in school he's shown to be very intelligent, outgoing, fast learning and approachable. Some traits that seem to be lacking in kids of today it seems, heck even adults!!

Everyday seemed to be different as his approachable atmosphere gathered many people towards him leaving him listening and others speaking. Like his sister his classmates talk to him all the time and as time kept going on and everyone started growing, you'd start to see teacher building up the courage to have a fulfilling conversation with him.

Wait a minute. Conversations?! No no no he didn't have conversations, Nathan only had story times. Everyone wasn't talking to this boy as he after he speaks the person he speaks to starts telling him stories!!

I'm sorry I got a little angry there. I was not expecting such wording to get me angry, I'll continue with the story.

Nathan's personality seemed to have grown rapidly with each and every story he heard from people and to top it off his brains development was definitely not to scoff at as he was doing very well even though he never studies. And yes that does include linguistics skills.

At age 8, doubling his age exactly, he realised that he was different from the people around him. As if his genes weren't even of his own family.

Nathan at the age of 8 manage to develop himself his own conscious by listening to others stories. This was a big breakthrough that most people would be interested in!!! But… he didn't tell anyone… his knowledge grew as well as himself… but what stories is he hearing from others to turn him to such growth in barely any time at all?

His sister? That's a special story that we'll keep for now but later on we'll know what was going on with the sweetheart as she is 20 years of age now and is opening a new chapter to her life.

Getting back to Nathan, his intelligence was astounding as he kept many secrets as if he was bound by law, he didn't have to be so tight lipped but his outgoing demeanour hid his own secrets. The second story he ever heard was from one of his classmates in preschool, the first being the story his sister told him. Getting back on track, this classmates name is Heather. Being an outgoing child herself at that age she told him all about the things that made her happy in life like her stuffed toys and her parents and her dog Natty.

Ah to be young again, how I long for youth~

This child is very sweet she is. Oh yes I'm talking about Heather, the angel. She didn't wish for the worst upon anyone and just wanted a life full of fulfilment even though she herself is too young to tell. We all long for fulfilment, even Nathan actually.

But knowing Nathan so far we can't really say much about him can we? We know he's outgoing, clever, approachable and one more but that's pretty much it for his personality that we get.

O-o-o we also found out that he doesn't speak much since most of the time he just listens. Speaking of which at age 9 the boy began to ask for his parents to tell him stories before he went to bed, but each time they read from a book the boy did not listen… this was strange as the boy always listened as long as someone spoke but these bed time stories felt different…almost wrong. Like he knew the ending before it even came so he refused for them to be read.

Cliches and common twist to stories were so very predictable to him, but you can fake a good story if it happened in real life. No matter how I interesting the person the stories would always be true and Nathan finds the unpredictability of life the greatest form of… I'll save that for another time, as for now sleep well and i shall speak with you in the next chapter. Salutations.
