"What's on your mind?" Daisuke approached her as she was at the window sill, staring at the gardens.
"Nothing," she said simply, not wanting to bother him even more.
"You think you can lie to me? You are like an open book when you sulk," he continued to prod.
"I just don't want to bother you even more," she said, closing her eyes for a bit.
"You have already bothered me so much that such concerns should not even enter your mind at this point," she opened her eyes when she felt a hot sensation on her neck.
She turned to look at him and found him a few steps behind her with a serious look on his face.
She shook her head. Why was she imagining such things in broad daylight? She blushed profusely as she tried to regain her composure.
"Are you okay?" he asked, the baritone voice did not help in her attempt to calm her nerves.
