Chapter#3 : Wedding

He had to play along with them. If Daniel really had to destroy him. He had to search more , because there was more of the story than he knew.

He was Daniel Walton and he knew how to play and get what he really wanted.

"So you came here to meet us." Miranda, wife of Mason asked. Daniel rubbed his temple. "Actually, I am here to take what's mine." He replied. "What yours?" Mason asked. They all looked at him, confused. Daniel smirked. Even though he was shocked also at his own statement but he didn't show any reluctance. It was the time to start the game.

"Mariposa is living here." The three of them nodded there heads at Daniel's words. "She is my fiance so ...." He left the sentence incomplete. "No." They shouted in unison. "No?". Daniel asked and raised his brow at them. "She is our responsibility now. I will marry her with whomever I want." Mason said. Daniel gritted his teeth in anger. Did Mason just defy him? "And beside that she doesn't deserve you." Miranda too added her statement. Daniel looked at her. Anger was clearly visible on his face. "Mom means , you deserve someone confident and beautiful, not just an ordinary girl." Margeret said while rubbing her left hand on her collarbone. Everything about her was screaming fakeness.

"Of course someone like me." She winked at Daniel. He looked away from her. He so wanted to puke on her face but he controlled his desire. Such a shameless girl. He thought. He didn't like her boldness a bit.

"My parents wanted us to get married and that's what will happen." Daniel stated ignoring the ladies. "But...." Margeret tried to interfere again but Daniel cut her. "I will support your cafe and help you to establish your business. "

"Why not?" "Yes." Miranda and Mason replied together. "Then our marriage ceremony is going to take place tomorrow. You can sign the contract after the ceremony at church." He ordered this time.

"But why so early?" Miranda said. She was clearly offended along with her daughter. "Meet me at sharp 9 o'clock at the church. Keep in your minds that I am busy man." Daniel told them and stood up from his place. He was about to walk out of the main door when someone grabbed his hand. "You must rethink about your decision." Margeret said seductively and drew circles on the back of his hand. "And you must stay in your limits." Daniel replied angrily and snatched away his hand from her hold.

He reached at his hotel room. It was already dark. He ate dinner. Did some work. But sleep was far away from his eyes. Those bluish green eyes wasn't leaving his mind.

What had he done? He loved someone else. How would he spend his life with any other girl? But he didn't know the name of that girl nor did he know where she was. He was searching her from the past five years. His whole night passed by tossing around on the bed.

The next morning, he found himself standing at the door of the church waiting for Mason to come. The door of the car opened and he saw Mason coming out of it, then Miranda and then a girl covered in white. He couldn't see her face. But her posture told him that she was unhappy about the marriage thing.

Did she know about him? Did she has a boyfriend? Or worst she love someone? Why did he care. It was a real marriage. He just want to take her to his grandparents who were always worried about her. He kept on feeding his ownself, lies but deep down he was excited to see her after soo long. It had been twelve years.

He took a deep sigh. Why did he care? He himself wasn't sure about this. He was happy that Margeret wasn't with them. "You are ten minutes late." Before Mason could hug him. He said in his cold voice full of arrogance.

He grabbed Mariposa's hand and instantly felt electric jolt. Her hand fit in his so perfectly well, like made for each other. Stop it Daniel. He said to himself.

After they took their vows, the priest announced that the groom could kiss the bride. He wanted to see her face. He wanted to lift her veil. But he refrained himself to do so. He went out without looking at her. Mason followed him.

They signed the deal and Daniel left fornNew York. Of course Mariposa was with her. But during the whole journey, they both didn't interact.

He decided to leave her at the Mansion door. All the way to Mansion, she was lost in her own world. He wanted to clarify the situation to her but the awkwardness between them wasn't allowing him.

He had so many questions and he knew he had to find the answers himself. He spoketo her at the Mansion door , more like ordered her. She didn't reply. He felt guilty of being harsh to her. But the reality is always bitter. He didn't want to give her any hopes.

He still wasn't able to see her face. How could she hide her face all through the journey. Didn't she feel suffocated in that. He thought. Why did he care. He shrugged of her thought. He had a lot of pending work waiting for him at the office.

That particular blueish green eyes were not helping much. But Depp down he knew that she was alright. Until he was breathing, she would be fine too. He would find her one day. Because he felt a strange connection with her. That doe-sized eyes filled with pain and with so much innocence on her face, that angel took his breath away. He could feel that their bodies, souls and hearts were connected. She was his fate and he was her destiny. They would be one, not sooner but later. They would be together.

He needed a good sleep so he just shut off his brain by taking sleeping pills. He needed peace. And he would get it , the day when he would find the truth behind all these scenes. That was the last thought on his mind when he drifted to sleep.
