Chapter#23 Something Secret

"Hello." Mariposa said. "Can I talk to Daniel Walton." The man on the other side spoke. "Who's there." She asked frowning. "Tell him D.K is calling him on his mobile. Its urgent." The man said and cut the call. Mariposa looked at the handset with confusion. The stranger was scary and rude. She huffed and stood up from her place. She had to inform her husband who was looking handsome while working on his laptop with messy hair and sleeves of his shirt was rolled up. She entered into his office. "Excuse me sir." She tried to keep her tone professional. "Yes?" Daniel asked.

"Some D.K is calling on your mobile. Please pick up the call." She informed him. He looked at her with wide eyes. "Has he said something other than this." Daniel cleared his throat and asked her. "No sir." Mariposa replied. She was confused. Firstly the man's behaviour was strange and now her husband's reaction was strange.
