Mariposa was walking towards the lift. Daniel asked her many times to go to office with him. He had declared their relationship so now their was nothing to hide. But she wanted to keep their personal and professional life separated. So she refused him.

"Oh look the whore is here." She heard someone saying behind her back. She had enough. It had been a week since she was listening to their tormented comments. She sighed and turned towards the man. He was the Head of the Finance department. He smirked at Mariposa. They all became more confident when they observed that Mariposa neither said anything to them nor did she tell Daniel about it. "I am his wife. I think you need to understand the meaning of this word." She gritted her teeth and said.
