Chapter 6

Next day.

Ansh’s pov.

I opened my eyes and saw my little angel sleeping close to Aayushi. I looked at Aayushi and she was sleeping peacefully while hugging Aarohi.

I always wished to see something like this. I always wished Aarohi to get mother’s love. This became possible just because of Aayushi. She came into our lives and brought so much love and happiness.

I thought that I won’t be able to accept her as my wife. But I want to give this relationship a chance. Aayushi is a very nice girl and she accepted my child. Their bond has become very strong in just 2 days.

But still, I don’t know if Aayushi wants this relationship or not. I don’t want to force her for anything. That day she asked me for some time and I am ready to give her as much as time she needs.

I hope she doesn’t leave us. Even if she takes this decision, I will let her go. I won’t force her to stay with us.

My trance was broken by Aayushi who said. “Good morning, Ansh.”

I looked at her with a smile and said. “Good morning, Aayushi.”

“Are You okay? You are looking tensed.” She asked.

“No, I am fine,” I said and stood up. I went near the closet to take my office clothes while I saw Aayushi kissing Aarohi’s head. I smiled seeing Aayushi’s unconditional love for her. I went inside the washroom to start the new day.

Aayushi’s pov.

Ansh went inside the washroom, so I thought to take shower in another room. I want to make breakfast for everyone today. We have many maids here but I love cooking. And as I have nothing to do so why waste time by sitting idle? Instead, I can cook something.

I took a quick shower and walked towards the kitchen. I saw maids doing their work. They looked at me and one of them came near me.

“How can I help you, ma’am?” She said.

“I want to make breakfast. So can you please tell me what everyone likes?” I asked.

She nodded in yes and I started cooking with their help. I immediately made breakfast for everyone. Once I was done, I went out to arrange the dining table and saw mom coming towards me.

“Good morning, Aayushi.” Mom said with a smile.

“Good morning, mom,” I said.

“Why are you doing all this?” She asked me.

“Mom, I had nothing to do so instead of sitting idle, I thought to cook something,” I said with a smile. Mom nodded and took her seat.

“I will just go and wake up Aarohi,” I said and mom nodded in yes with a smile. I went to my room and entered inside. I saw Ansh sitting on the bed in his office clothes while Aarohi was in his arms. He was rubbing her back and she was snuggled in his chest. Aw, she is so cute.

I cleared my throat to get their attention. Aarohi broke the hug and looked at me. She gave me her beautiful smile which can make anyone’s day beautiful. I smiled too and went near them.

“My baby doesn’t want to go to school?” I asked. Aarohi nodded in no making a sad pout. While Ansh chuckled.

“Aayushi, she doesn’t like to go to school,” Ansh said.

“But this is not at all good. You know Aarohi, going to school is very important. You shouldn’t skip it.” I explained to her softly while caressing her hair.

She just nodded in yes. I smiled, I know she is very small to understand all this.

“Ansh, give her to me. I will give her a nice bath and will make her ready for school.” I said while extending my hand.

“Are you sure?” Ansh asked.

“Yes.” I nodded with a smile. I took Aarohi in my arms and took her inside the washroom. I slowly took off her clothes and gave her a nice hot bath. I even washed her hair. This was not so hard for me because I have taken care of my cousin's son. This is the only reason I know many things about small babies.

I took a towel and wrapped her in it. She was looking so cute in that towel which was so big to cover her whole body. I took her outside and saw her clothes kept on the bed. Priya might have kept these clothes. I rubbed her whole body and made her wear all the clothes. I looked at her wet hair.

I took a towel and dried it. I looked at her hair with a confused face. How to tie her hair? I made a partition and tied her hair into two ponytails. But they were looking quite odd as one ponytail was on top and another one was on the lower side.

Eww, it was looking so bad. Oh god, I have to ask for help from Priya.

“Let's go, baby,” I said. Aarohi held my finger and we walked near the dining table. Ansh was sitting there drinking his juice while mom was not there.

“Ansh do you know where is Priya?” I asked coming near him.

Ansh looked at me and nodded in no. He looked at Aarohi and frowned. He pulled Aarohi near him and looked at her keenly.

“Dady walt (what) are you sheeing (seeing)?” Aarohi asked touching his cheeks.

“Who tied her hair?” Ansh asked looking at me.

I looked down as I know her ponytails were looking very weird. “I tied,” I said.

“You?” Ansh asked and I just nodded in yes. And in the next moment, he started laughing loudly. I looked at him with a wide-open mouth. 1st of all I tried my best to tie her hair and here he is laughing.

“Oh god, Aayushi. Shit her hair. Oh god.” Ansh laughed holding his stomach.

“Stop laughing, Ansh. I tried my best and Instead of appreciating my efforts, you are laughing. I said giving him glares. Ansh pressed his lips and stopped laughing.

“Okay, I am sorry. Give me that comb.” Ansh said and I gave him a comb. He slowly opened her hair and combed it nicely. He tied her hair into two ponies in perfect shape and size.

“See like this, we have to tie baby’s hair,” Ansh said and I looked at Aarohi’s ponytails. They were perfect.

“You know how to tie her hair?” I asked with wide eyes seeing that perfect pony.

“Yeah of course. When mom and Priya are not here, I tie her hair.” Ansh said while caressing Aarohi’s cheeks.

He leaned down and kissed her neck making her giggle. Her laugh is so beautiful. He held Aarohi’s waist and again snuggled in her neck. Aarohi giggled again and pushed him. Only to be pulled in her daddy's protective arms. Ansh said. “Love you my baby doll.”

“Aaru lovesh (love) hel (her) dady more.” Aarohi said.

We all sat to have our breakfast. I served breakfast to Ansh and myself. Aarohi will eat from my plate. Ansh started eating and I kept a clothe on Aarohi’s lap so her clothes don’t get dirty.

I started making her eat from my hands while she was playing with a fork in one other and a spoon on another one. I saw her taking that fork near her nose. Shit! It can even hurt her.

I took that fork from her hand and said. “Don’t play with this baby. This can hurt you.”

“Plsehh muma.” Aarohi pleaded with a sad pout. I smiled and kissed her hair. I took an ice cream spoon and gave it to her.

“Thank you,” Ansh said with a smile. I rolled my eyes and asked. “Ansh, will you please stop thanking me for everything I do for her? It makes me feel very odd. I don’t need a thank you for doing something for my family and Aarohi is my family. She is my daughter.” I said caressing her hair.

“Our daughter.” Ansh corrected me with a small smile and I nodded in yes. We had our breakfast in silence. Ansh and Aarohi left after Ansh kissing my forehead as always and my Angel kissing my cheeks. Even I kissed her cheek.

At night.

I was sitting on the sofa while Aarohi was playing with her doll. Today I got so bored in the afternoon as Aarohi was in school, Ansh was in his office, and Mom was at her friend’s place. As Aarohi returned she slept for 2 hours and it was hell boring.

I am not a person who likes to sit idle just wasting her time. I think I have to join my hospital again or else I will get mad out of boredom. I have to talk with Ansh today itself.

My trance was broken as my phone started ringing. The person was Ansh and I picked up the call.

“Hey Aayushi.” Ansh said.

“Hey,” I replied.

“Aayushi, I have got very urgent work. So I will come late.” Ansh said.

“Oh, it's okay Ansh,” I said.

“So please, take care of yourself and Aarohi. Have food on time and Please help Aarohi to brush her teeth. Even tell Priya to change her clothes and tell Aarohi to sleep on time. And, and.” He said all this in one go. Seriously, he is a very caring father and he loves Aarohi very much.

“Ansh, I will take proper care of Aaru. So chill.” I said. Before I can say anything, Aarohi tapped my shoulder. I looked at her.

“Muma, you talking with dady?” She asked.

“Yes baby, you want to talk with him?” I asked her. And she cutely nodded in yes. I picked her up and adjusted her on my lap. I put my phone on speaker.

“Dady?” She said.

“Yes my Aaru,” Ansh replied softly.

“I am mishing (Missing) you dady.” She said cutely.

“I miss you more baby. I will come back in an hour. Okay? You sleep and don’t forget to brush your teeth. Don’t trouble your muma, okay?” Ansh said.

“Dady I plomise (promise) to be a goodie (good) girl,” Aarohi said and I kissed her forehead.

“I know that my baby is a very good girl. Okay, baby bye.” Ansh said.

“Bye-bye dady,” Aaru said.

“Bye Ansh,” I said and we hunged up the call.

I fed Aarohi her dinner and then I changed her clothes and helped her to brush her teeth. We laid down on the bed and patted her head. Soon she slept and I placed a small kiss on her forehead. I covered her properly with the duvet and kept a teddy near her chest so she doesn't get scared.

I walked out of the bedroom and sat on the couch waiting for Ansh. After an hour, I heard the doorbell and I stood up to open the door. Ansh was standing there looking tired. He looked at me and smiled at me.

“You are still awake?” He asked after coming inside.

"I was not sleepy so thought to wait for you." I lied to him because even I don't know that why I was awake for him. I have all rights on him as we are married but I don’t know what he thinks about this Marriage.

I saw him nodding his head and he walked towards our bedroom to get fresh. Whereas I walked into the kitchen to warm his food. I placed his food on the dining table and he came after wearing his nightclothes.

I am too confused when it comes to my relationship with Ansh.

”Don’t think much Aayushi, just go with the flow. You will get all your answers just give urself some time to accept this relationship.” Said my heart.

Yes, my heart is right. I should just go with the flow. Whatever will happen, it will be good for me, For Ansh, and even for Aarohi.

I took a seat and served him and myself. We started eating in utter silence. When I remembered about the hospital.

“Ansh can I join the hospital again from tomorrow? I get bored a lot in the afternoon as I have nothing to do so I thought to join my work again."

“Aayushi you don’t need to ask me you have all your freedom. You can join back your hospital.” Ansh said.

I smiled as I love my work very much and joining it back was amazing. It's been 10 days since I haven’t gone to my hospital and I am missing it a lot. But now I will again join my work.

After eating our food we headed towards our bedroom. We slept while keeping our angel near us.
