This story happened in my adulthood and it was right before i started working. 


It was a friend's birthday party and I was invited. Lizzie Gordon had just turned 23 and her family organised a birthday party to celebrate her. I and a number of mutual friends arrived at her house hours earlier to help her get ready. 


She hosted us in her bedroom as people soon started arriving and were welcomed by her parents. 


While in her room, we got to catch up as we had not seen each other in person for a long time. 


Some of the girls had new boyfriends and one a girlfriend, surprising that it was Sal. Yes, she was dating Sal. I did not really care much about that as I was also hoping to have my own relationship.
