WHEN IT RAINS, IT POURS

Ken and I walked to the head nurses office, talking and giggling. Occasionally rubbing shoulders. It was a fun and judgment free moment. I liked hanging with ken and I was enjoying his attention.

Suddenly a lady appeared with a stern face to question is. She wore a white uniform and big nerdy glasses. She was actually pretty even in what she had put on, Ironically.

Head nurse: Shu! What is wrong with the two of you? This is a hospital. No shouting, no running, no fighting, no attending to patients by any teens and absolutely no public display of affection..

What is wrong with the two of you? You teen-agers. No respect.

Ken and I: We are sorry.

Head nurse: Sorry? What is that going to do? We are a herbal clinic mostly but we have admitted patients. What would you do if you woke one up? Kids of now a days, so insolent and inconsiderate.

Ken: So sorry. We were actually coming to see you.
