Mr. Rare Returns: The Crystal Vortex Arrives (Part 1)

"Rena...... If pulling this sword means getting you back, I'll do whatever it takes. No matter how long this journey may take."

At the temple, Alistor lies awaiting, the Crown Sword shining within reach in front of him.

"Alright, here goes…."

And so he attempts to pull the sword to be reunited with Rena. A success, to his surprise, but suddenly the sword beamed a faintly glowing light. In moments, he is paralyzed with a grasping shock from the blade. Unable to move, the sword latched in the grip of his hand.

"That will be enough from you."

"Mr. Rare!"

Mr. Rare appeared before his very eyes.

"You prolonged your use far enough. Now that Moon is gone, some of my powers have returned. I won't allow you to revive that Silver Maiden. As a reward, you may rest in that blade."

"No…."

He struggles to move, but the sword begins draining his soul and life into it. He did all he could, but it was no use. In the moments of his last thoughts, he only thought about Rena.

"Rena, I won't fail you... No! I won't give in. I'm going to bring you back. I know…. Somehow. It can't end like this."

The sword pulls his whole body and soul into another realm, not of this world. His soul becomes trapped within the blade into a long deep sleep. Never to be heard from or seen by friends again. Till one day….

A quick recap first.

Previously on Maiden of the Silver Light: They battled against the actual army of Aggerona. Alistor and his party fought one wave of monster attacks after the next to help liberate Anneria for their friends in need.

The Metal General Taishae was believed to be the one true brother of the Vilevelious. With the help of Captain Steffbird, they were able to brave through the turbulent waters and reach Anneria. The battles eventually became complicated over the time that passed.

With very little hope left, our young hero awakened a warrior in a deep sleep. Her name was Rena, The Maiden of the Silver Light. Anneria's savior shined hope against Moon's army.

Alistor and Rena eventually fell in love and developed an affection for one another. Yet, their moments couldn't last forever.

In the final battle, Moon overwhelmed them. Proving to be too much, Rena sacrificed herself, giving Alistor the power to defeat Moon for good. The remnants of the Aggerona army diminished away, saving both Anneria and Mathias from destruction.
