Daiyumasa’s Requiem

Daiyumasa is seen returning to his King at the sight of a village completely decimated by the King and his forces. The Baronia king felt alive and excited with no challenge as he laughs at the sight of people running in fear.

“It’s been five hundred years since I last stepped foot into this hell hole.”

“Ah yes!” Spoke the King softly.

He fired one last shot of energy from his cane destroying a building.

“Now that you mention. It was just like if it happened yesterday, the moment we found you.”

Another flashback from Daiyumasa is shown. Resented from his passion, the boy turned to the academy of swordsmanship. Eventually disowned, he was the village’s outcast.

“They all only pointed and laugh…” The general pestered.

Being left out from his own village, the boy vowed to return someday to prove them wrong someday. He trained himself day after night before finding his way to a mysterious figure.

“He was a peculiar man. What was his name again? Rare I believe.”

Mr. Rare approached the struggling boy without hesitation. Striking a deal for him.

“What business you have here?” The boy wondered.

“I’m a simple man who crafts one of a kind items. You’re hindered from reaching your untapped potential. I heed to your call. Let’s make a deal?”

“I’m listening…”

Rare presents a cursed blade to him. Without hesitation the boy accepts the blade as a parting gift before leaving.

“The” Sonic Masa” I still carry till this very day.”

The general pulls out his sword, taking a gaze as the flashback continues.

“I continued to train alone day after day. Spring to summer, fall and winter. Season after season till the very day Baronia’s rise.”

The scene transitions to Daiyumasa now a fully grown young man. Returning to his own home village teasing his wild hair. He wears a long overcoat.

“I couldn’t resist to take a stab.”

Enraged he stabbed a warrior as the crowd burst in terror.

“Nothing had changed on how this village treated me. I slaughtered every warrior after the next. It was a thrill.”

He is seen killing off the last group of warriors perusing him.

On that very day, Baronia’s arrives to Kaito village. Daiyumasa leaped right into the middle of the battlefield hacking away at his oppressors. Slaughtered away his own people while the warriors struggled with Baronia.

“Eventually reinforcements arrived to help these scum. I was outnumbered by the royal army.”

Damaged from the remaining warriors, Daiyumasa pulled back. Blood spill all over covering parts of his face. The forces of Baronia stood their grounds at the sight of the young man all exhausted and barely standing. Lasers rain down destroying the last of the reinforcements.

“An enemy of our enemy is a friend of ours.”

The Doctor came down to the young man as lifting out his hands to join them. Daiyumasa smiled with a mad look as he gracefully accepted the offer. He leaves off with the Baronia army as the flashback ends.

“I almost forgot. I must head off to destroy Emerald. Do as you please to the rest of this village I leave Kaito in your hands.”

The King Teleports back to his fleet taking leave to Emerald Village as Daiyumasa stayed behind.

Back with our hero’s, they waste no time on course to Kaito.

“Daiyumasa still must be stopped.” Alistor said.

Alistor and party quickly made a decisions to split up. Some to check for survivors. Alistor, Zolhalla, and Maigashi agreed to check it out as the rest stay behind to fend off the King and his forces. Alistor and his small team arrived to the gates of Kaito village. The three moved in quietly to get a good layout of the place before making any sudden movements.

“It seems there are a couple gates placed down as marking points.” Zolhalla pointed as they spot villagers caged near each gate.

“What’s the game plan?” Maigashi asked.

“I think we’ll have to figure later. Watch out! Behind us.” Alistor yelled as the three lost cover at the sight of pawns.

Alistor and the two engaged in fight with the pawns. A previous monster drops down on the first gate.

“Looks like we’ll have to handle that monster too.” Maigashi said.

“I’ll handle the pawns from here. You two take out that monster.” Zolhalla suggested.

“You again?” Alistor froze in place.

Metarrior delightedly greeted them.

“So we meet again. This time I’ll destroy you this time with little interference in my way.” Laughs the monster starting out with a blast of lasers.

The two barely dodged as more waves shot out. The monster pounced on Maigashi as he tries moving out of the way.

“Rose Grasp now!!!”

Alistor summoned out Rose Warrior to catch the mechanized spider in midair with its technique.

What? How can this be?” Shocked the monster as it struggled to break free. “Let me go.”

Metarrior gets tossed aside, hitting hard on the floor with difficulty getting back up.

“Lightning shots!!!”

Maigashi impales the monster with waves of arrows shocking the monster on ground. Metarrior flips back up in a rage.

“It’s not over yet!!!”

A ball of sludge gets charged up. Metarrior unleashes a blast damaging the environment as everybody take damage. Another sphere gets charged up by the monster.

“Brace yourselves!” Maigashi jumped.

“Let’s end this now.” The spirit signaled.

Alistor and the spirit charged from side to side confusing Metarrior. Unleashing the Rose grasp technique Metarrior this time flip over causing him to land on its own attack.

“Hit with my own attack?” Cursed Metarrior.

The monster emerged badly damaged as Maigashi went in for the finish.

“Surging thunder!!!”

He hits the monster at point blank on the face. Metarrior quickly collapse over exploding in place.

They moved on to the second gate bringing down the first along with the containment containing many captured victims.

“I see the next gate up ahead.” Pointed Zolhalla.

Alistor briefly let’s his guard down as another monster rams at him from the side knocking him away.

“What the heck was that?” Maigashi turned around.

“Pirantus….again?” Alistor muttered.

Maigashi and Zolhalla gained some space as the monster left out a roar.

The monster shot out an electrical surge of energy from its palm. Coconuts scattered across exploding.

“I never seen this one before.” Maigashi remarks. “It looks ridiculous.”

The monster charges at both Maigashi and Zolhalla for another heavy ram. They both countered back with their ranged attacks before jumping out of the way.

“Kiya!!!”

Alistor stabs it from behind together with Rose Warrior. They both got slapped back as Pirantus raged on firing rounds of Coconuts. Zolhalla leaps in to cut Pirantus from the side stunning it.

“Gah!”

The monster retaliates back firing an energy beam from its mouth as Zolhalla takes damage. Pirantus begins throwing a fit, shaking its leaves as Coconuts continue to rain down.

“That’s just great...” Alistor sarcastically muttered as everyone got back to position.

The monster charged another laser from its mouth.

“We don’t have enough time for the Crown Crasher.” The spirit muttered.

Maigashi suddenly stepped in the center.

“Let me take this from here.”

He pulled out his electrical blade as it took the form of a bolting arrow. He took aim at the mouth of the monster.

“What are you doing?” Alistor asked.

“Shut up! I got this.”

The monster continue to draw in more energy as Maigashi shot his arrow at the last second before it had a chance to unleash its attack. The attack lands straight into the monsters massive mouth forcing it to choke up.

“Something’s happening.” Zolhalla kept guard.

Sparks bursts across as everything imploded inside of Pirantus body. The monster collapsed blowing up into pieces with a dramatic explosion in the air.

“Hmph! That was my good blade.” Maigashi nodded.

They moved on to the final area of the village by its end spotting the last set of villagers captured and need to be saved. Daiyumasa is seen holding a girl by the neck as she choked away. Struggling for life as he laughed away.

“Stop right there!”

Alistor and party made an entrance as Maigashi shot off an arrow. He nearly hits Daiyumasa breaking his grasp as the girl ran away.

“Here to save the day?”

Daiyumasa just smiled back as he placed his hand on the top of his forward feeling humored. Pawns spawned around the remaining prisoners to guard. Daiyumasa pointed his sword directly at Alistor. He approaches him slowly one step at a time.

“Why do you care about these pathetic worthless beings? They are selfish and nothing still changed.” The general pointed out.

“So your point is…” Alistor replied.

Daiyumasa giggled as he fiddled his sword, walking around in a circle.

“I was once human very long ago.”

“I know…” Replied Alistor in a low tone. “You’re the boy that slaughtered his village from the stories.”

“Yes! I did slaughter them all. They deserved it anyway.” The general bolted out.

“I know how it feels…But you must stop.”

“Keh…Save the pity to yourself.”

He draws out his sword as the spirit stood by his side.

“You see as machine I’m eternal. Never to age or die. Feelings and emotions where a past that I cast aside long ago. Now I’m stronger.”

“If that’s the way you feel, then you’ll be joining your King.” Alistor shouted.

“Have at it! Kiyaah!”

Daiyumasa made the first strike.

Maigashi and Zolhalla moved out of the way for the two to battle as they handled the pawns to save the last remaining villagers. Daiyumasa hacked away with his long sword at super-fast speed as the sound of grass whistled in the air. Alistor and the spirit barely kept up with the speed of his strikes.

“The Sonic Masa! It is music to my ears. The dance of this blade plays sounds of the fallen that have been slain battle after battle.”

They continue to clash as Daiyumasa kept up the offensive pushing Alistor and Rose Warrior back not giving them a chance to fight.

“He’s too fast.”

Sonic winds whistled across as air builds on the battle field. Daiyumasa kicks Alistor in the stomach knocking him back.

“This isn’t getting us anywhere. We must try something else.” The spirit suggested.

They both charged up their blades to out power Daiyumasa. Their attacks clashed with then general slowly pushing him back.

“Interesting….But let’s see you try avoiding this”

He pulled out his mechanical arm to shot out a barrage of lasers at them. The spirit shields Alistor from harm as they had to run. Daiyumasa moved in close on them to continuing his fire.

“Rose Grasp!”

They surprised him by going in close with the Rose grasp technique, stopping the general’s fire in place.

“Not bad hahaha.”

The two charged straight at Daiyumasa. An aura of air emits around his body as his hair flowed to the side of his face. They got close enough to him as he unleashed a surprise with the lift of his sword.

“What?” Alistor came to a halt.

“It’s a trap!!!” The spirit yelled out.

“Cyclone Blade!” Daiyumasa shouted.

Air spun rapidly across Daiyumasa in the form of a tornado as it hoisted them in the air. They take massive damage crashing back on the ground.

“Are you ok?”

The spirit helped Alistor back on his feet.

“I’m fine…But that really hurts.”

Daiyumasa fires out projectiles of air attacks from the tip of his blade. They dodged them barely as he pulled out his other arm to fire away his machine gun.

“We need to stop that arm of his.”

The spirit pushed itself to the limit unleashing a wall of energy. His shots get sent back damaging the machine gun part of his arm rendering it unusable.

“Damn you!” Daiyumasa cursed.

“The rest is up to you...” The spirit muttered.

Rose Warrior was low on power collapsing in place. Alistor took the stand as Daiyumasa raised his blade in the air again.

“Hear the requiem of my supersonic blade.” He yelled.

“Another hit like that could finish me.” Alistor gasped.

Alistor moved further back to avoid the blunt of his attack, but gets swept aside. The general continues his assault hitting him multiple times.

“You can’t run forever. Cyclone Blade!”

The general slowly approached to his position as Alistor stood exhausted in place. Rose Warrior suddenly returns to his side.

“I got power for one last attack. You need to make this one count.”

“All or nothing then.”

They got ready as Daiyumasa unleashes his devastating technique at them again. The cutting cyclone approaches at high speed trying to pull them in. They both got ready at the inevitable as the spirit pulled out its blade for the plan to commence.

“Here goes!”

The spirit powers up as they hoisted themselves with the Rose Grasp straight into the mouth of the vortex. At full power for an all-out attack, the cyclone collides with them as they get sucked in. They pushed through the air with all their power taking the blunt of the damage.

“What???” Shocked Daiyumasa.

The two emerged right out from the vortex.

“Crown Crasher!!!”

Daiyumasa gets impact at blank range with full force. Alistor collapsed to his knees barely holding his breath.

“To think you risk running straight on at my cyclone. No one has ever seen through it.” The general spoke quietly.

“There’s always a chance.” Alistor replied.

“Chance? Keh…It was a good fight...I applaud to you…”

The general close his eyes. Maigashi and Zolhalla finished off the pawns as the remaining ones retreated away. They released the prisoners and went to check on Alistor.

“We beat Daiyumasa for good this time.” He fought well.

They turned to look back at Daiyumasa’s body noticing his sword was distance away from the reach from his hand.

“Hey! Where you’re going?” Maigashi wondered.

He went to pick up Daiyumasa’s sword as he brought it back to Daiyumasa’s side.

“Okay let’s go.”

They leave Kaito village and sets course back to Emerald. Daiyumasa’s body vanishes along with his blade as the winds carried him off.
