"What the fuck, Vladi?" I yelled and I slapped his face. "Your stunt scarred me for life!" I added and threw myself around his neck.
"I did what I had to do," he mumbled and stuffed my back a little too awkward.
"Even though I care about you, sestra..." Vladi didn't even have to complete the sentence and I freed him from my arms. And his eyes as I stood in front of him. I was crushed. He was lost with the language. I cleared my throat and switched topics.
"What now? I asked and I had to sit when I felt a bit dizzy.
Vladi nailed me with his eyes, but he ignored it for the moment.
"Shut the door, Rick." Ricky nodded and shut the door.
"I know who the rat is," "Who?" Ricky asks and frowned. "Someone went double agent. Somebody very close to me."
"Igor?" says Ricky and Vladi nods.
"Dima caught him while making a telephone call with Mr. West yesterday."" But it doesn't make sense? I know Igor may be a shitty character. But he was always loyal." Ricky said, bewildered. "It's either he or Dima who's lying."
I heard the two men and it clicked.
"But didn't my rescue go very smoothly, Rick? Dima found the key in no time. It was him guarding my door. Why would Zion put someone who had a connection to Vladi on guarding his sister?" Both men narrowed their eyes and I could hear their brains working.
"Although. I had this weird feeling from Igor, but maybe it's because I was still out of it. It could be that Dima set Igor up. He saw how Igor acted on the plane towards me? He may think I have a say in this and will suspect him." I felt my stomach turn and I rushed over to Ricky's desk and puked in his trash can.
"What the fuck, Sheila?" Ricky roared.
"You can't hold that back, Vlad. Step back." Rick whistled and padded my back.
"I'm sorry. I've been feeling so sick lately, it must be all the drugs leaving my system," I was mumbling, feeling my stomach whining. "It's okay, Sheila," Ricky mumbled and handed me a napkin. "Thanks," I whispered.
"It is time to reveal myself since everyone still believes that I am dead. I want you, Ricky, to call a meeting and start with who will take my place, and see who's most interested. I'll be outside and I'll come in on your signal. I want you there also, Sheila. Get dressed and get your act together, because I want you to try and take my place. If there's anyone trying to take me down and take my place, they won't be happy with a woman taking over." "What? Vladi, I'm still sick. I feel like shit? Are you kidding me?" Vladi sighed, "Pull yourself together, Sheila. Don't make me regret saving you." "Fuck you, Vlad," I roared and left the room with angry steps, "one hour, Sheila," Vladi yelled at my back and I flipped him the middle finger.
I stomped into my room and lay down on the bed. I was so tired, exhausted. I lay on look up at ceiling for a moment, gathering the last strength.
I sighed and went to the bathroom to put on makeup and dress up. I owe him my life, so I better do what I'm told and help him all I can.
"Come on, Sheila," Ricky screamed from downstairs and I took one last look into the mirror. I looked good like nothing ever happened to me. Contoured face and smoky eyes with a nude lip, wavy hair. I wore jeans and a black shirt underneath my fur jacket. Luckily Ricky had arranged for my luggage to be secured after Zion kidnapped me. I put on my leather boots and headed downstairs to get going.
"Wow, you look good, Sheila," Ricky said when I walked downstairs,
"Thank you, Rick, let's get this over with," I grumbled and we went to the car.
We drove for thirty minutes and then parked outside the warehouse.
"Here," Ricky reached me a small revolver, "Perfect! Loaded with?" I ask, "Five bullets," Ricky replied and reached me five more bullets. I took them and put them in my pocket and fasten the revolver in my waistband before jumping out of the car.
We entered the room, and all eyes were on us. Eyes filled with Resentment. Yet the curiosity was lingering in their eyes as we walked past them all.
"So, you may wonder why I have gathered you here today. Boss is dead, murdered. And we need to find a new replacement,"
"Yes, we do Ricky," I erupted him and stepped into the front line, "And I am the one most suitable to do so. Ricky was my blood brother, therefore I am the rightful heir." "Is this a joke?" Some of the men were protesting.
"No, you are not taking over," Dima said. "If someone should take over, it's me. I am the one most suitable for the job. I know all the contacts and knows how the routine runs," he mutters.
"Please. You haven't got half the balls I have," I whistled back. "Oh yeah. Is that why you had to be rescued, Sheila? After being chained up like a fucking disgrace to your own family," Dima roared and I felt I was slapped.
"You know, Dima. I had the feeling you were about to double-cross me. And now you also disrespect my sister, and you're trying to replace me?" Says Vladi with hardness, but calmly as he was walking up next to me.
"There's no respect, no more, is it? All these greedy men, want to be the big boss. Yet they start running when they hear the sirens coming and let their boss die."
Vladi crossed the circle of men and nailed them down with his power.
"And you, Dima, I thought more about you. I really did. But I guess insanity got to you too, huh?" Vladi passed through the crowd. And then things happen too fast. The second Vladi passed by Dima, Dima reaches for his gun and aims at Vladi.
Panic and fear of losing my brother caused me to reach for my gun and I shoot Dima in between the eyes. Vladi glanced over his shoulder, "Nice shot, sestra. I see you've been keeping up," I nodded and felt my hands shaking over the handle, and Ricky walked up to me and took the gun away.
I was shocked. I just killed someone.
"Is there anyone else who has any objections about my sister?" Vladi asks, and the men shook their heads. "Good, because she's just as important as me, and she will be protected like me. If any harm comes to her... I will cut your balls off and feed them to you before I kill you." Vladi hissed and I felt myself fainting in the arms of Ricky.
Zion's Pov
She left me. That fucking woman left me, escaping. But I did have a backup plan for that. That's why I put Dima on guard of Sheila. I knew he spied on me for Vladi. And Dima almost shits his pants when I confronted him some time ago.
And he agreed to double agent for me after I put some heat on him, literally.
But something must have happened to Dima. That idiot. He was supposed to call me, yet he hadn't been for several days. Joe was still in a coma, and most of the men died in the ambush. But that only made my wrath greater, motivated me.
Revenge. That's what's keeping me going now. I needed Sheila back. Because no leaves me, and if they do; They will pay with their lives.
