Please Zion...

Sheila's Pov

"Zion, please. Don't do this," I cried when he made me walk in front of him and out of the house with Alina in my arms. "Walk, Sheila," Zion ordered, and soon we reached a car with the engine running.

"Get inside, now!" I did as told, and Zion got in after us.

Tears were streaming down my face, and I cradled Alina in my arms as I hummed on her favorite melody.

The car took off, and if it weren't for Alina, I would have fought like hell before I jumped into the car.

"What's the baby's name?" asked Zion, and I knew I should cooperate for Alina's sake. "Alina," I whisper, and Zion frowns. "A girl?" he answered, and I nodded.

Alina awoke and was nibbling on her fingers, and I knew she was hungry. I turned away from Zion a little as I gave her my breast for some privacy.

We sat in silence, and I glanced at Zion from time to time. He looked like he was thinking, and I was wondering what his plan was taking us.

The expression of Ricky has frozen in my memory. He seemed so defeated when Zion held his gun against my head. Zion ordered everyone to stay back, and if somebody dared to follow us, that would be the end of Alina and me.

"What's your plan, Zion?" I ask when Alina had fallen back to sleep again. Zion narrowed his eyes. 'I'm going to be honest with you, Sheila. I want revenge. And I'm going to get it," Zion spoke coldly, and I felt the hair on my neck rise when he did. "What do you mean by saying that?" I whispered, and Zion turned to face me.

"I'm using you as bait to kill Vladi, and this time, I will kill you if you try anything and take my daughter!" Zion hissed, and I swallowed nervously. "But follow my orders, honey, and we will live happily ever after. Huh?" Zion chuckled, and I knew he was sarcastic.

Vladi's Pov

"Arm up, now! We need to be ready when Zion comes with the instructions!" I hissed, and the man nodded and rushed away to the gun room. "What if he hurts them?" Ricky said with tears in his eyes. "For fuck's sake, Rick. Man up, and don't make me regret accepting you to be my sister's man," I uttered with an annoyed tone, and Ricky nodded and left the room. I felt my stomach turn by the thought of Sheila and Alina in Zion's hands. But I needed to stay sharp. I can't let my emotions come to the surface now.

I knew Zion would text or call with further directions. He didn't want Sheila or his daughter. He wanted me dead and my men too.

Zion was out for revenge, and I was scolding myself for leaving the house when he entered. But he was smarter this time. Because if he didn't hit our warehouse at the same time, I would have stayed back with Sheila for the night.

A few hours later.

My phone buzzed, and I saw an unknown number had sent me a text and a location pinned down. "Is that Zion's instructions?" Ricky asked and leaned over my shoulder. I nodded, and then Ricky grabbed the phone from my hand.

"What the fuck, Rick? Give it back, now!" I ordered him. He gave it back seconds later and ran out of the room. "RICKY?" I shouted at his back and looked down on the screen.

"FUCK!" I roared when I saw that he had forward the text to his phone. Ricky could fuck up the whole thing and get himself killed, or worse, Sheila and Alina, if he rushed in there to play the hero.

"Maxim. Get the bag with cash and load up the cars. We're leaving. Now!" I ordered and then put on my bulletproof vest and armed myself before leaving the house alongside my men.

"Ricky has left already, and he is acting irrationally for the moment. His actions can cause severe damage to this situation. But if it comes with it: Sheila and the baby are your priority," I said, and the men in the car nodded.

I looked at the GPS and saw that it was an hour until we reached the location. Ricky had a few minutes in the lead, and I hoped we would catch up to him before it could be too late.

Zion's Pov

We reached an empty fabric we have stayed in during our time in Russia. I had the whole place on security cameras, and my men had their spots sorted throughout the entire area. I have come prepared this time, and it was only one way out of this one: Dead or alive.

"I need to change her diaper, Zion," Sheila said, and I nodded. "Sure. There is a table over there. Here is her bag," I replied and gave her the diaper bag. Sheila walked to the table and began to change on Alina. "Okay. I will send the text within an hour. Prepare yourself. Everything is going to go according to the plan, okay?" I hissed out, and the men nodded in reply.

"What plan, Zion?" Sheila asked and turned to face me. "Don't worry about that, Sheila. Just follow the orders you will get later when the time is near." I replied and smirked at her. She looked good. Better than I remember.

I can't wait to have her back in bed when this is over.

Later that night.

Sheila's Pov.

"Sit down on the chair, Sheila," Zion ordered me, and I did as told.

I had Alina in my arms when Zion tied me up on the chair, but he left my arms a little loose so I could still hold onto her, close to my chest.

"All you have to do is follow my instructions?" Okay, Sheila? Just do as I tell you, so I don't need to harm you or the baby!" Zion said calmly, "I will. " I replied, and Zion smirked and leaned down and kissed my cheek.

"Well, well, well. Look who's coming to save you, all alone!" Zion laughed, and I froze when I saw Ricky's figure on the parking lot footage, "I can't wait to finish him, once and for all!" Zion hissed with a clenched jaw.

"Let him pass through," Zion said in his earpiece.

"Please. Don't hurt him," I whisper and look down at Alina. She smiled at me as I did, and I never knew it would be the last time I would ever see her smile.

"Hello, Dicky. What a lovely surprise," Zion said as Ricky rushed into the room. "Let them go," Ricky exclaimed, and the pain pierced my heart. "Stay back, or I will shoot Sheila," Zion hissed, and Ricky froze.

"You know what. Let's make that interesting." Zion continued and walked towards me.

"I knew that you had a crush on Sheila and that you were waiting for the right moment to make her your own. But the funny thing about that, Dicky, is that she will always belong to me, and she was never yours to claim for the beginning. Alina is my child, not yours," Zion said and leaned down and kissed Alina's forehead.

"No! You don't deserve her or Sheila," Ricky cried out, and Zion smirked. "But I do, and I wonder which of you two Sheila would choose," Zion asks, "Sheila. Which life is more worthy; Dicky, or Alinas? " Zion asks and pointed with a gun at Dicky, and another one at Alina.

"Zion, please. Don't do this to me!" I cried, and Alina started to cry as well. "Please, I'm begging you," I cried out and felt nausea strike me, and my breath shortens.

No, no. I can't have a panic attack now. The pressure over my chest was making me heavy, and I held Alina close to me.

"Come on, Sheila. Who do you choose? " Zion whisper in my ear,

"Sheila, look at me," Ricky begged, and I glanced at him. "It's okay, Sheila. I understand," Ricky pleaded, and I gasped for air when he did. "No, I can't say it," I sobbed, and Zion sighed.

"I guess I choose for you then," And before I had the time to react, a shot fired.

"Nooooo!" I screamed when I saw Ricky was lying on the ground, with a bullet straight through his neck. The blood was pouring from him, and he turned his head towards me, and then he mumbled something, and seconds later, he was utterly still.

Alina cried in my arms, scared after the loud bang. "No!" I sobbed uncontrollably.

"Finally. He's dead," Zion said as he leaned over Ricky's dead body before he fired one more bullet in his heart. "You can never be too, surely? Right, honey?"

Zion chuckled and then fired off three more shots aggregated.

Vladi's Pov

I heard the gunshots when I jumped out of the car, and I rushed through the building. I shot every man that tried to stop me, thankful that I had the silencer on. I had tunnel vision, and all I saw was my sister and niece coming out from this alive.

"Wow, Vladi. What an entrance. Right, Sheila?" Zion said when I entered the room, he had occupied. He had his gun pressed against Sheila's head. And both Sheila and Alina were hysterical, and my heart froze when I saw Ricky on the floor, dead.

"Well. Sheila, let's play this game more time. Whose life is worth more: Your brother or your daughter?" Zion chuckled, and I felt my stomach turn.

"Please, Zion. We will come with you. I will do whatever you want. Don't make me choose," Sheila sobbed and rocked Alina in her arms. My heart was aching for her. This was madness.

My sister didn't deserve any of this.

"Please, Zion!" Sheila pleaded.

"Or, do you want Vladi to choose, you or our daughter?" Zion chuckled, "No, don't drag Alina into this. She's just a baby," Sheila gasped as tears flow down her cheeks.

"Then I will choose," Zion muttered and held his gun pressed against Sheila's head and one aimed over at myself. And the second I saw his evil smirk appear on his face was the second I knew he would shoot her. My sister.

We both fired off our guns, and it hit me in my chest. The force of the shot made me fall back, and I thanked myself for having the bulletproof vest.

I got up on my feet when I heard Alina's screams, and I saw her lying on the floor beneath Sheila. Fuck. I rushed over and grabbed Alina, and I knew at that moment; my sister was already gone.

And Zion was bleeding out on the ground beneath her.

"Boss?" Maxim said as he stood next to my side.

"I'm so sorry boss..."

"Clean this up. Bring my sister and Ricky with you and leave their bodies to be cremated. And Maxim, hire someone full-time to take care of Alina. A nanny, or whatever it's called," I ordered and walked out of the fabric with a crying Alina in my arms.

The End.

His Betrayal - 18 years later. (Sneak Peek)

I can tell you the exact moment my life fell apart, completely. Everything was shuttered around me, and at that moment I knew; everyone who's close to me, dies.

I don't deserve love. I don't deserve anything.

I should be locked away.

"Alina! Get in here!" My uncle Vladi shouted when I came down the stairs. I took a deep breath and walked into his office. "Yes, uncle?" I uttered nervously when he gazed at me. The man who took me in gave me shelter, but he never gave me anything else. He ignored me most of my life, unable to show any emotions towards me. I never knew why, until I was fifteen and my nanny, Olga, told me a short story about my parent being killed and I was the only survivor.

Olga never said it, but I somehow knew Vladi blamed me for that. But I was a baby?

"Alina. I want you to do something for me," Vladi said and I frowned, "Of course uncle. What do you want me to do?" I replied, with a knot in my stomach.

"We have had some trouble with the Serbian mafia lately. But we have now come to an agreement. You will marry Jakov Kostic, heir to Aleksander Kostic tomorrow on your 18th birthday to unite our families."
