Shadows on a Sword

Ashdeer POV

Sparade

I was pretty sure by now that there was more to the Shadow Army than it appeared. The two thugs who had been my drinking companions were both now very drunk and were grinning away. I needed to nudge them away from their ribald jokes and songs to give me more answers.

"Big Mac" I hissed to the bigger man, and nudged him, as he sang another song.

"Her teats....were like big watermelons....i wanted to show her my big sword...like a melon slice she sang on my knife...."

I itched to slap the two men, but refrained. The smaller one had fallen asleep and this one was too drunk. I had to find a better way to do things. I looked at the fire as it died down, into embers, and made a decision.
