Kidnapped

Agnimaya slowly opened his eyes. Her head is dizzy. She narrowed her eyes, adjusting to the blinding light. Agnimaya's head felt hot. The big light was right above her head. Only inches away.

Her hands and feet were tied to the chair. Her mouth was gagged. She tried to scream, but all that came out were incoherent mutterings.

Agnimaya's eyes filled with tears. She felt that she had never done anything bad to anyone, but why did he even experience this kind of thing.

Bam!!

Thwack!

Thud!!

There was a commotion from outside. Agnimaya is alert. She tried to untie the knots on her hands and feet, but to no avail. It instead made her hands and feet hurt by the scrapes of the rope that bound her.

'Oh Lord! Save me!' she thought.

Moments later, she faintly saw a shadow approaching. Agnimaya narrowed her eyes to sharpen her vision. She looked at the young man who had been the place to lean on. Rafael.

Rafael stumbled walking over to Agnimaya. His leg is injured. His hand gripped his left arm. Blood dripped from between his fingers.

Agnimaya's cries are getting louder. Why did Raphael save her first? She hoped that it was her brother, Arjuna. However, that is no longer important. She just wanted to get out of here.

First, Rafael opened the cloth that was gagging Agnimaya's mouth. Next, he untied Agnimaya's hands and feet. Rafael is the most meritorious person in Agnimaya's life. The young man is also the one who has been helping Agnimaya get a job.

Now, Rafael helps Agnimaya to his feet. He cupped Agnimaya's pale cheeks with blood-soaked hands.

Agnimaya's eyes filled with tears, she couldn't bear to see Rafael's battered face with a body full of cuts.

"Nimay, are you ... are you okay?" said Rafael, stuttering. Every now and then he gritted his teeth, holding back all the pain that pierced his body.

Agnimaya just nodded. The next second she hugged Rafael tightly.

"Why? Why, El? Why are you the only one by my side when I'm hurt? Why are you the only one who always saves me ... huhuhu?" Agnimaya said between sobs.

Rafael embraced Agnimaya's tiny body, forgetting all the pain.

'Because I need something from you, Imay. Something that will make my sister at peace there.'

Rafael tightened his grip on Agnimaya who was still sobbing. His vision began to blur from the blow to his head earlier.

Agnimaya wept bitterly in Rafael's arms. She faintly saw a shadowy figure approaching. The figure was hiding something from under his jacket. Shiny thing.
