Emperor Ding Shun was struck dumb by the words of the hidden guard.

He stared at the decaying hand on top of the sack.

'Did he just dig this up from somewhere? No–he didn't have to do all the trouble just to use the reason as to why he wasn't able to obtain the machine from Mistress Luna..He could always try again later..'

"Where did you say you found it?" He asked the guard.

"It's in the alley blocks away from here. I may be able to find the spot again–but I don't recommend heading there unprepared. Those monsters–they look human but they acted worse than animals.. I saw them eat a person's insides. They ran so fast even in the dark.."

Ding Shun nodded. "Investigate this. Be thorough."

"Yes, Your Majesty." He bowed deeply and left when the Emperor dismissed him.

Ding Shun pondered about what he had just heard.

"Does this have anything to do with Mistress Luna?" He wondered.
