CHAPTER VI : TRAUMA

"Lu-ca-s?" Ask Eve slowly and stammered.

The man smiled and looked at the girl who was now shaking and staring blankly at him. Is the girl broken as a human? That's what Lucas asked himself. The girl hugged him tightly, repeatedly apologizing, begging for forgiveness, and staring at Lucas with tears.

Lucas never felt anything so strange at him and felt annoyed, suffocating, and hated. Lucas breaks the magic that binds Eve and Madeleine. Afterward, the man stared flatly at the old lady in front of him stared without fright.

"Rozan is indeed troublesome not your husband, children even yourself," said Lucas in almost like a whisper, the Duke exudes a deadly and dark aura.

Even Erudian, the servants, and the guards immediately bowed because of the pressure exerted by their angry king. Erudian's heart was beating fast, not without reason the older brother occupied the highest position of the Asmodia nation and became their king. If Asmodia is a demon nation that has descendants of demon king blood, then among them there is one who surpasses all demons, and that demon is the guy who occupies the title of king and Duke.

'It's crazy, even he just unleashed a little bit of his power,' Erudian said.

Lady Rozan, who looked around her, noticed the strangeness that caused the fear that surrounded her heart. Even her eyes didn't dare stare behind a flaming ruby bead in front of her.

"Yo-you've taken Ash-ley from me!" Rozan stammers, the old lady tries to resist the pressure and fear. A middle-aged woman who appears to be digging her grave defiantly challenges the god of death.

"Ah, your daughter who died committed suicide didn't she? Another bitch who likes to stick her apples to me." Lucas remembers a girl who had a body just like a guitar that always attached her breasts to Lucas' body, and that was disgusting. Lucas shook away that ludicrous shadow from his mind.

"W-what bitch?! -Damn you. Whereas our families have been friends since the time before. You should know Rozan better than Lorraine and what do you say? E-engaged to a weak girl that adopted"

"Don't tell me she gives you her body argh-" Before finishing her sentence Rozan had been lifted into the air, her feet no longer rested on the floor. The pain was spreading to parts of her body. The woman immediately spewed blood, Rozan's blue bead quivering staring at the Duke.

"Rozan, I never considered you as allies or even friends. Maybe my father was friends with your ancestors, but me?"

"In no way do you think of you anything but gravel on the street, even if you are friends with Castiello I will not marry your daughter. "

After saying that Lucas' grabbed Rozan's head tightly, which in the next second was destroyed and left a trail of blood as if the rain had just poured down. The room felt tense, no one dared to raise their head until Eve's screams were heard to surprise everyone including Lucas who immediately hugged her.

Lucas muttered sedative words, saying everything was fine he was here and apologizing. Lucas grows confused when Eve's breath is no longer irregular like before.

"WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR, ARE YOU BLIND? ASK JACK TO COME."

"Yes my lord."

After giving the order, Lucas immediately left the room in a mess because of the blood everywhere, Helga and some servants and bodyguards followed his master. While others stayed to help Erudian treat Madeleine who was also not in good enough condition. A gripping and terrifying atmosphere envelops the mansion, even as Erudian has been flooded with sweat as it holds his brother's aura and heals Madeleine's external wounds.

Lucas opened Eve's room door and enters hastily followed by Helga who immediately installs a shield as a form of defense in case of another attack. When she was about to put Eve in bed, the girl suddenly coughed up to get her entrails out, Lucas looked at her mess, he never saw Eve like this. The Duke sat on the side of the bed and cast several spells to heal Eve's external wounds, then it was Helga's turn to replace the lady's clothes. Helga takes off Lucas' coat which has been used to wrap Eve's body around her.

Helga was stunned when she found the entire dress Eve was wearing full of red patches, if her master had not healed the wounds on Eve's body probably she would have bled to death. It didn't take long for Eve to change clothes, Lucas again sat next to Eve holding the lady's hand and wiping the forehead that was still sweating.

"What's going on?" A twilight-haired man arrives in a hurry, his breath panting not because of running but because of the pressure from Lucas that seems to be slightly overflowing his aura.

That guy was Jack, the Castiello family doctor, this handsome man was also a demon who works at Kaintress hospital. His healing magic and knowledge as a doctor-led to him being appointed directly by Lucas as a private doctor, in addition to the doctor's expertise as well as the Duke's comfortable having his best friend to take care of him.

"Since when is she like this?" asked Jack while deftly examining the condition of his best friend's girl. The man opened the bag he was carrying and pulled out a small glass bottle with a clear-colored liquid. Then Jack injects in the lady who shortly afterward appears much calmer. What happened next was quite a surprise because Jack punched Lucas very hard.

Helga ducked down and turned her eyes because she felt disrespectful to saw her master who had just received a raw punch from his doctor.

Lucas was only silent even though he was a little shocked because he did not think his best friend would be angry with him. Jack brushed his hair blocked the view, Jack felt the Duke in front of him was the most idiotic creature he has ever encountered.

"We'll talk somewhere else." Lucas immediately stepped out of the room and followed by Jack. And they now sat in Eve's study room quietly enjoyed a pretty gripping atmosphere. Jack glances at Lucas that looked pretty calm the turmoil in him, of course, because the abundant power in Lucas was overflowing.
