Adrian got to class on time, he sat closed to a guy named Sam, who was chewing gum like a spoilt brat, it baffled him the most how all these rich kids got spoiled easily, "don't they think before doing anything why? was he different from them? The blonde hair came to his mind maybe she did apologized that day he wasn't sure of it."
"Good morning class came a voice interrupting his thoughts."
"Am your new history teacher, I don't have many rules and regulations for my class just be good student okay? Said the new teacher."
"Yes sir replied the students."
During the break, Adrian decided to walk to the cafeteria without the twins, there he saw Lizzy and the blonde hair with a new face.
Lizzy waved at him, he didn't want to wave back but he did!
"Come join our table please" Lizzy cried out while looking his direction.
"Damn, this girl is something else" Adrian said as he walked towards the girls. He could heard them giggled and wondered why they did that.
"Hi" was the only thing he could say to them
"Introduction time, these are my friends, Ava and Camille.... Am Elizabeth as you all know" She pointed at each one of them.
"And you are...?"Lizzy asked with a smile waiting for Adrian to finish up the line.
"Am Adrian" he didn't want to mention his surname.
"Adrian Brooks right?" Ava shouted, she was sure of it, she still has his family photo his dad posted on social media. She was sure of it, no mistake about it, those cute blue eyes staring at her was indeed the eyes of Mr. Brooks 'son
"No, yes…" Adrian stammered, he didn't Know what to say at the moment, one of his secret was out and it's was the cafeteria of all places.
"What?" Lizzy covered her lips with a palm to avoid her scream coming out loud.
"If you don't behave yourselves , am going to leave okay?" Adrian warned
"Sure, why not?" Lizzy asked pointedly.
The girls became calm. Adrian looked up to see if any
thing was odd with the students in Cafe, but it's wasn't, everything seems normal. He had to make the girls understand that he wanted a normal life here in Oxford not the Brooks 'lifestyle.
"Why don't you want people to know that you are the only son of the billionaire Mr. Brooks?" Ava asked out of curiosity.
"Yeah, you need to tell us because I don't see why you don't want your father's name to be known when everyone is wishing to be called Mr. Or miss Brooks!" Lizzy said.
"Seriously? Is that so?" he asked.
Adrian laughed loud. Why on Earth will anyone want to be caged and neglected?!
"I came to Oxford to have a private life away from my family, I will be happy if you put this topic aside."
"Okay, fine girls we won't be talking about this anymore, I want Adrian to be around us." Lizzy advised.
"Yes ma'am" came a response from quiet voice .
Adrian looked up and saw the blonde hair, she was indeed a beautiful girl with nice hairstyle, her outfit was perfect, the short skirt she wore matches her long legs.
"What's your name?" He looked at the blonde hair with his blue eyes.
she looked away out of a rush.
"We met before do you remember?" Camille asked.
"Yea, I do and you were so different from that day, are "Are you sick today?" Adrian wanted to know what made this noisy one calm today."
"Nope, am not" Camille answered quietly and resumed drinking her milkshake. She wondered why he was looking at her that way, she like him this way, those blue eyes that glow like the sky his black hair kept falling to his face.
"What a cute face he got!" she mumbled.
***
"Is this love?"
He couldn't take his mind off the blonde hair, he was trying to concentrate on the video game, or was he crushing?
"Nope not her" Adrian said out loud.
"am winning today man. By the way, Who is she ?" Jerry kept playing.
Adrian was so tired, he couldn't believe him self, it's been a month he saw them at the cafeteria and he was still thinking about Camille!
"Buddy, you can talk to me" Jerry said with concern.
Adrian thought of it for while, maybe he should share it with his friend, he might find a solution. "It's the blonde hair, Jerry I can't get her off my mind, she is every where in my head."
"Sweet God, this is serious I didn't know you were going through this man, hard luck" Jerry sympathized.
He knew his friend has fallen in the trap of the blondes.
"Say something Jerry please," Adrian wanted to know what was going through his mind.
"I think you like her and maybe you have feelings for her."
"You are joking, I can tell" Adrian moved to the sofa to relax. The sofa reminds him of his nanny, he missed her so much.
"Am not sure of it, am suggesting Jerry clarify him."
"And I think is better to hang around her to be sure if your feelings, don't just jump in to conclusions, we might be wrong."
"Around her? I will be stupid man, can't you see the way I am now?! Am weak Adrian cried."
" This was the most frustrating feeling ever, he wanted a calm and easy life here not the complicated nor this annoying feelings he was having right now!
"But that's the only way to know what you are feeling right now, or do you perhaps know what exactly it is?
"You sure it will work? Adrian asked.
Jerry nodded.
"Then I will comply with your suggestion,."
It's been long since they last saw , Camille was wondering if Adrian doesn't like her ,they haven't seen after that day at the cafeteria. She found him quiet charming and adorable he was the perfect definition of her prince charming. But what if he doesn't want her? he was Adrian, Son of Brooks. She felt it already, he hated her after their first encounter. Camille regretted everything about that day and wished Adrian won't punish her heart for that.
"Cami dear, why don't you tell us what is wrong with you? At least just a clue will do" Lizzy asked politely. Camille knew her friends were worried about her, she barely eat these days, she talk less and it seems she cried most of the times, they were not around. She lost some weight over these few days.
"Am fine Lizzy, don't worry about me" she smiled.
"Don't pretend sweet heart, did any thing happened at home?" Ava wanted to know maybe her parents had a fight again. Last semester, she got sick because of her parents, who almost got a divorce it was shocking to them too, she didn't want friends to continue worrying about her.
"Am fine guys, don't worried" Camille reassured. She hate when she lie to her friends they were like her family and she love them so much.
"We are going to class , are you sure you don't want to come?" Lizzy asked.
"Nope, am fine here am feeling a little feverish" Camille explained
"Are you pregnant??" Ava couldn't hold it any more. She knew something was wrong somewhere
"Noooo..." came a scream. Camille knew her friends were teasing her, she was trying her best to laugh.
"She is not, let go bae" Lizzy told Ava.
