At The Mall
Victorine didn't respond, she just blankly stared at Mira "answer me vickie!" Mira roared in anger "oh you have no answer right, you know very well that garlic weakens a vampire, I mean you're a devil you know better, what i don't understand is why you did it?"
Victorine didn't say anything still, she just kept staring on the floor avoiding Miras eyes "I can't believe I trusted you, Austin was right, you're.." "enough princess" Victorine finally defended herself
"I didn't know I'll come here" tears started strolling down Victorine's cheeks, which burnt her "Danielle came to my house yesterday she threatened me that if I won't leave, she'll flood my house and you know my body can't stand water, so I just rushed without thinking and came to you, i didn't think of the consequences garlic had on the prince plus I forgot I ate garlic even" she explained
"I'm sorry for causing harm to your husband, it wasn't intentionally" "and what happened to hell? Why don't you live there anymore" "i want to live a normal life like you, like go shopping wear normal color clothes like other teen's, so I asked for permission from my dad and he agreed as long as I follow the rules then I'm free to live and dress however I wanted" she confessed
"that's why I can't live in hell anymore as it will hold me back from the life I want to live" Victorine sadly confessed with tears uncontrollably strolling down her cheeks, Mira upto now didn't respond she too had tears in her eyes
"I just....I just thought I would live a normal life but I guess a demon is just a demon, every bad thing that will happen I'll just be accused" Mira disagreed with her but shaking her head and mumbling "I'm so sorry vickie..I.. I shouldn't have doughted you" Mira pleaded
"don't worry I'll live but that does not break our friendship right? You are still my friend" "no you're not going anywhere, I'm so sorry for wrongly accusing you it'll never happen again" Mira pleaded and went close to Victorine
she wiped off Victorine's tears and softly touched her burnt cheeks "whats abaut your burnt cheeks" "I'll heal them, it's easy to heal the cheeks then the whole body" Victorine responded and wiped Mira's tears too "let's go shopping, i want to change my closet, I'll understand if you can't come, we can even go tomorrow" "no let's go today, you badly want to change right?" "Yes, but Austin isn't okay so.." "it's okay he'll understand, please take a shower I'm also going to get ready, so see you in 30minutes" "okay" Mira kissed Victorine's cheeks before exiting the room
Abaut two minutes later, Mira entered her bedroom she found Austin seated on his usual spot infront of a laptop,
Mira approached hugged him from behind then spoke against his ear "Good morning hubby" "good morning to you too hermosa" he responded abandoning the pc as he turned to her side giving her a perk kiss on her lips "what where you doing? i mean on the pc" She couldn't help but ask, he's been doing this for almost each morning
"making more money for us" he responded getting up "what do you mean?" She confusingly asked "I'm a trader, i trade to make extra cash for us" he answered which made sense
so he's a trader no wonder he's forever on his pc "I also want to trade, can you teach me?" "Ofcourse, you can trade with my account since we share almost everything" he said hugging her "I'm serious, what if I take all your profit" she teasingly said "it's fine we're married hermosa, what's mine is yours just like how yours is all mine, which includes all of it"
they stared at each other for abaut two minutes God knows how much this two Loved each other, after abaut two minutes she broke their gaze "I'll be going shopping with Vickie" she informed "You can go tommorow I need your attention, today i wanna spend my whole hours pleasing you" he said pulling her to himself seductively his voice full of desire
he really wanted to take his wife at that moment, he sucked her earlobe and bit on it, a moan escaped her mouth "ahh, this can wait hubby" she didn't want to dissapoint Vickie, not after hurting her doughtin her is something she'll never forget
"I need to go with Vickie, we can..we can do this tomorrow, I'll..hmm.. be...all yours i promise" she said between breaths "alright i'll come with then" "no you can't, i mean we are changing vickie's closet she might not be comfortable"he didn't respond he kind of looked dissapointed
After several seconds he finnaly raid something "Alright, but don't forget your promise" "I won't" she said heading to the shower door "I'll help you take a shower" he said following her to the bathroom but Mira was fast enough to lock the door
"why locking yourself? You don't need my help anymore?" "Nope it's just that you always tease me during my baths, can't let you have this one" she confessed as she headed for the shower,
in no time Austin heard the water drops which he assumed came from the shower tap and so he left, abaut 10minutes later, Mira returned from the shower with a towel wrapped on her body and another in her hands drying her hair,
Austin was seated on the bed with his PC but suddenly tossed it aside as soon as he saw her "come lay down abit you look tired I'll give you a head massage" he offered rubbing the space on the bed beside him "no thanks, we'll do that tomorrow" she kindly declined "But tomorrow you might give the same excuse, i mean who will Zephyrine stay with then?" "I'll find her a date, I'll take care of this I promise" she flushed him a smile before heading to the cupboard
she was abaut to start lotioning up before Austin came to her side with another lotion which was new "hermosa mom suggested you start using this lotion instead" he said already rubbing his fingers on her bare belly "Alright, anything momy says is right, since she was once a mother" Mira responded raising her arm so he get full access to her body
his fingers stopped moving after hearing what she said, he closed his eyes but Mira didn't notice it, she thought he stopped to tease her and so she bit her lower lip also closed her eyes with Austin also closing his as he had a flashback
Flashback
A boy around five years old if you'll look closely you'd recognize it's the younger version of Austin, ran upstairs then as he reached upstairs he entered the first door to his right where he found a pregnant women seated on a bed gently rubbing her swallon belly with lotion the little boy spotted the lotion on the nightstand he took it in his hands before asking the women "momy why are you using this lotion on little sister? Can I use it too" "it's to protect your baby sister and and momy too" the women responded "can I help you apply it, i know with love it will be more effective" he asked taking lotion in his palms "okay" the women took the boys little hands brought them to her belly, the little boy gently rubbed the women's belly "promise me something son" the women asked "anything for you momy" the innocent boy responded "You promise to take care of your little sister, even when I'm not around" "yes momy! little sister is my responsibility I'll give my life for her" the boy promised and kissed the women's belly "I know you too will always have each others back" the women commented "pass me the hair oil it's time for your head massage" the boy obeyed as he stood up to get the hair oil from the night stand he took it handed it to the women who poured some oil in her palms and started applying it in the boy's hair running her fingers in her hair, it seems the boy really enjoyed her massage as he closed his eyes
Present
Mira noticed her husband's hand didn't move for quite awhile now she opened her eyes then searched for his she then noticed his eyes were closed but tears falling to his cheeks
she thought she might be the cause of it and so she hastily wiped them away "I'm so sorry Austin I didn't mean to.." Austin snapped out of his thoughts as he realised his wife's soft touch "no I'm sorry I just got alittle carried away" he confessed,
she didn't pressure him by asking what made him feel this way as she knew whatever the reason might be it is a sour topic to him "i'll just dress up now" she said clearly trying to change the topic,
she wore a wrap black dress which ended on her mid-thighs, she took red hills and was abaut to put the right hill on when Austin grabbed it from her hand "in your condition you want to wear hills seriously" he scolded
"I'm just a month pregnant my belly isn't even out yet, a stranger will not know I'm pregnant" "just wear me this sandals today" he said handing her black scandals "Alright" she took the sandals, wore them "thank you" he thanked her after she successfully wore the sandals "for what?" She confusingly asked "for obeying me" she just rolled her eyes then headed the mirror to do her make-up
An hour later Mira and Victorine were at the mall with their shopping bags, they were aiming to enter a jewelry shop with the purpose of leaving Victorine outside as Victorine couldn't stand a place full of jewelry while on the other hand Mira loved jewelry
she wanted to buy Austin a watch "I'll find you outside" "no I'll head to the coffee shop you'll go find me there, I'm starting to love human foo...." she didn't finish her sentence as her jaw dropped seeing a handsome guy infront of her
the guy wore a black suit with his hair handsomely styled if Mira haven't met Austin before she could describe him the cutest guy on planet earth he was in his late twenties, judging by looks "hello I'm Daniel" he politely greeted with his gaze on Victorine "oh hello daniel" Mira responded as she noticed her friends sudden shyness as she was mute, she thought Victorine liked Daniel already
"where are you heading to daniel?" Mira asked "I'm going to get ice cream" he responded "do you mind accompanying my friend to the coffee shop please" "Mira!!" Victorine embarrassingly shouted "no problem" he responded "thank you, Vickie please go with him i'll join you guys in 20minutes time" Mira said giving her friend a little push
she shyly nodded then warked away with Daniel, he offered to help her carry her shopping bags she gave them to him leaving her with a school bag only yes Victorine carried her school bag in place of a handbag nit tgat she didn't have a handbag, Mira earlier offered to give her a handbag but she declined as she wanted to carry it for the last time since she was changing her closet which meant she wasn't going to carry it anymore,
today was her last chance Mira understood and peacefully let her carry it, she wished she could tell him she was a demon and never gets tired but didn't want to scare him off, considering the fact that she already liked the guy
Mira entered the jewelry shop after giving them a last glance, the workers already started treating her like a VIP "hello Mrs Ford, what can we do for you today" "please follow me I'll show you around" another said "no I'll show you around"
it seems like both of them were fighting for her, then their senior coworker came "are you guys kidding me, she have to seat or did you forget she's expecting, how can you show her around?" She scolded "Mrs Ford please forgive my coworkers, come take a seat I'll bring a sample of each product we have then you choose what you want" she offered
"no thank you all, but I prefer warking and checking around on my own" Mira politely declined, she was tired of this VIP treatment all the shops she entered she was treated like God and didn't like it one bit "Alright Mrs Ford please inform us if you are in need of anything" "I will, thank you" she said and started exploring the shop she knew these workers might have find out abaut her pregnancy through the media,
she never even imagined in her wildest dreams that her pregnancy will be all over the news paper and internet but that's how life is, full of surprises
after she took the silver watch she was abaut to go to the payment desk but spotted a beautiful necklace just as she was abaut to approach it she slipped off almost falling to the ground as luckily a man catched her right on time,
Mira was in the man's arms her eyes staring straight in his as the were already staring in hers, the man's hands were warped around her waist supporting her, after a minute of uncomfortable silence Mira stood to her feet "uhm thank you very much, if you weren't around to save me then i could have lost my babies" she Said wiping away tears "I'm here to protect you and your babies, nothing will happen to them as long as I'm alive" the man said which confused her what did he mean by as long as,
is he her bodyguard maybe Austin sent him here "excuse me! who are you? Do you perhaps know me?" "No Im so sorry for that i was just lost in my own thoughts" he awkwardly confessed "Alright! I'm Mira and you are?" She introduced herself
"I'm lace call me chase, can we be friends?" He extended his hand offering a handshake "Sure" she agreed ignoring his hand as she pulled him in a friendly hug, he smiled clearly he wasn't expecting it, she pulled away then headed to the payment desk he followed her "can I have your cellphone number" he asked
