With Omar standing before her, I watched as she pushed him. He passively accepted the attack, his usual calm demeanour never faltering. I rushed over, shoving my sister away, and looked towards Omar, who avoided eye contact.

"Stop sending me threatening messages. You knew that Zamin was already doing what he was…but you still married him."

"If you just hadn't shown up in his life and ruined him, then maybe he would be the tennis star he deserves to be."

"I cannot make choices for him," I said, passing her the documents she threatened me with. "Nor can I for you. As my sister, you should be more concerned about me than him. After all, I was the one being tied to a chair."

She shoved me before leaving the house. Well, maybe I am to blame for most of Zamin's failures.

"You're back?" Omar asked, turning towards the table.
