An eyesore.

"Why have you requested to meet me?" Lady Talia uttered, her hand playing around the roaring lion carving on the sheath of the sword that was hung on her waist.

"Please, sit" Mr. Hogan gestured at the empty chair in front of him. He was dressed in an ordinary white shirt that had its sleeve folded to his forearm. His hair was slightly roughened and even still, he remained good-looking as usual.

Lady Talia looked from the empty chair to the man, after a moment, she shrugged and sat down. Since the man was someone the eldest princess knew, he should be safe.

"How may I help you, crown prince?" Lady Talia questioned with an arched brow.

"Tell me, what is her situation here?" Mr. Hogan uttered straightforwardly. To avoid unnecessary suspicion, he could only stay back in his chamber and not meet her in the past two days. It was really hard but he had to.
