Where Am I?

I opened my eyes, revealing where I was in some sort of empty container. I started to survey my surroundings trying to find any indication of where I was. but it was hard to see as the only thing illuminating the room was one dim white light flickering on and off. A sudden headache catches me off guard forcing me to grab my head with both hands as The memories of when that black thing took over my body started to whiz by in my mind reminding me of what happened and where I was.

" Just what were you? Magic?" all sorts of questions were racing through my mind but i knew better than to just stand around i slowly got up as my legs were wobbly. I eventually stood up with the help of the capsule as support. I slowly walk over to where I remember the entrance was. I lean against the wall next to the door making a click sound. The door opens and a blinding light shines through temporarily blinding me as i cover my eyes

'I need to figure out where I am, and why there was no light in there, but I could see everything. Has my eyesight always been this good?' my eyes finally adjusted to the sunlight revealing the tall trees all around but only the leaves were not orange but green. And several trees fallen burnt to a crisp, many craters in the ground already growing grass over it.

' This reminds me of no man's land how it looked 100 years later after world war 1. Did a battle happen here while I was inside that capsule?' I turn around looking back into the room and moving over to the beakers as my legs have recovered.

' What the hell was that thing and what was it doing in here? And what the hell are in these beakers? The liquid inside looks like it's alive...' I swish the liquid around, placing it back down as I turn towards the desk on the other side of the room. I walk over to it opening the drawer nocking dust off the drawer

'I wonder if I can find anything useful in this empty room, something to at least tell me where I am.' i notice a book with a leather cover titled Parasitic system .
