Ashok entered the orphanage, all the kids were waiting for him as they heard the door open the sprinted out to see who was there, when they saw that Ashok had come back, they all shouted his name and jumped on him.
Ashok was also happy to see them, the older kids at the orphanage were just behind the younger kids they were also happy to see Ashok come back.
The kids were very energetic they asked Ashok all sorts of stuff, like
" How is your girlfriend?? why didn't you bring her here"
" What is the city like?? did you visit the fast food shop like they show in the television?? "
Ashok calmed them down and said " Ok ok let's first eat then we will talk all about what you want to ask"
They all moved towards the dining room of the orphanage to eat.
Ashok was actually one of the first kids to be in the orphanage, so he became like the older brother of all the kids.
There were only few others who were as the same age as him. They all had gone to other places for study or had been adopted.
Ashok even though had gone to study elsewhere he visited the orphanage a lot and also because of his nature the kids in the orphanage liked him a lot.
Because of some reason he wasn't able to visit the orphanage for 2 years but he still sent things to the orphanage and also called frequently.
Ashok and the kids dined together. Ashok was mentally tired he still talked with the kid and answered their questions.
While talking they eventually got tired and all slept well.
Vikram wanted to talk with Ashok , but delayed it considering that he was tired form a long journey.
In the morning as all the kids woke up they started their daily chores, like getting ready cleaning and other stuff.
The kids got ready for school and bid a momentary farewell to Ashok.
The orphanage was huge, it consisted of many rooms and also had a run down old building in it, which was like a old Japanese style practice room.
The kids in the orphanage were not allowed to go to that building. All these years even Ashok didn't visit the building as he never was curious to know what was in the building.
Vikram told Ashok to accompany the kids to the school and then come to the old building and meet him. Ashok felt mystery in the building.
After dropping the kids to the school he quickly reached back to the orphanage. He came close to the old building while entering he felt as though he passes through a thick layer of air.
Ashok opened the door and entered. The room was building was not rundown at all. it had a huge Hall at the end of which Vikram was sitting crossed legs as he was meditating.
The Hall was very large even larger than it looked from the outside. The walls of the Hall had shelves which had books neatly arranged in them. They were categorized as martial arts, alchemy and array formations.
Each shelve of categories had hundreds of books.
Ashok walked slowly towards the end near Vikram, he was looking at all the direction in the room. He found it all novel that such things existed and he wasn't even aware of it.
Vikram had long noticed that Ashok had come inside the Hall. he maintained his calm and said,
" Ashok boy, come in and sit "
Ashok followed and sat in front of him.
There was a moment of silence, both Ashok and Vikram were quite they both didn't speak anything.
After a while Vikram broke the silence,
" Boy, I was going to tell you about your parents past as I thought you are strong enough to know the truth but you are still not strong enough, yesterday I checked your realm and you are just a internal energy warrior. You have and abnormal amount of internal energy but still you are not a Dao cultivator"
Ashok was at a loss he couldn't understand Vikram, he refuted his remarks and said " Pops, I am strong I can even defeat grandmasters"
Vikram sighed and started explaining, " Ashok boy, you don't know even a little bit about strength, let me explain it to you"
Ashok's expression got serious he had sharpened his senses as that he was going to hear the will of God's and didn't want to miss a single word.
Vikram happy with the look Ashok had continued to explain,
" In the ancient time cultivators roamed the world, everyone sought after the road to immortality and had a desire to cultivate, countless powerhouses wanted to ascend to a higher realm and become God. The only way to do that was to reach the Mahayana realm and then break through that realm reaching transcendence and hence go the higher realm. "
Ashok although he couldn't understand everything he wanted to listen more about the truth.
Vikram continued,
" A cultivator uses the energy of the world called as spiritual energy or qi to enhance his body and become stronger, but as there is a limit to how much energy is present in a realm, the amount of qi kept getting lesser and lesser as those powerhouses broke through and left this realm. Now this is not the age of cultivators but an age of mortals. The cultivators who were left in the world with not enough qi had a dilemma as how to become stronger so they came up with an alternative which was internal energy."
Listening to Vikram Ashok now understood why Vikram said that he was not strong. According to what Vikram said an internal energy warriors is just a degraded version of cultivators who cultivates qi and as internal energy and qi are totally different things he could never break this barrier as he had reached the pinnacle of what could be done with internal energy. but if he wanted to become stronger he would have to become a so called cultivator.
Vikram liked the look which Ashok had he smiled and said " Ashok boy you may not understand this all at one time but you will eventually understand this, there is a lot to learn don't worry this old man will explain everything "
